Great little hotel in a nice quiet neighbourhood - but a little remote if you want to boogie etc. Also when I was there they were starting to build a tall building just behind that would really impact on the charm of the terrace.

Unfortunately, I just stayed one night at this hotel, but I was very impressed and will definitely use it again when in Dakar. The hotel is very nicely conceived and furnished, the rooms are a pleasure to be in and the rooftop restaurant is excellent. The personnel is very friendly and efficient. I really enjoyed my stay.

I just spent two weeks there, though I was initially only booked for two...nights! I found refuge in this hotel after fleeing the salubrious King Fahd. The staff is young and helpful, from the front desk, to the bus boys and the restaurant staff. They consistently go the extra mile for instance, when she noticed I only had fruit for... More

I did not stay at this hotel but ate at their rooftop restaurant with several business colleagues. It was lovely and relaxing from start to finish, with great views, casual but attentive service, and delicious food. Price quite reasonable, too!

I spent a week in the hotel while travelling to Dakar for a Seminar. The place is clean and for those who are scared of insectes no worries. The place is spread with insecticide everyday. I loved the rooftop which is according me as interesting as the rooftops one can find in NYC. The only "bad" points: the size of... More

I stayed at the Djoloff twice in the last couple of months: Pros: - good room, although no space to work - very nice roof top terrace - good food, ok breakfast - ok internet, sometimes badly slow (there is better internet in Dakar) - good location in Fann Hock All in all acceptable and nice for the price, but... It was a wonderful experience. The owners are very aware of the needs of international tourists. I was there for about a week. I even had to get a room change and the managers were very accommodating. When I return to Dakar, this is the place where I will stay for sure.

I had heard and read good things about Hotel Djoloff, but I did not really expect that my experience would rise to those rave reviews. Well, I was wrong! The room was delightful - neat and clean, with a nice quiet air conditioning -- a welcome place to relax in peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle of Dakar.... More

I was already having an amazing trip in Senegal. I visited Goree Island and the Holy City of Touba. It was a spiritual kind of renaissance for me ... very emotional. Before leaving, I had a chance to stay at the Hotel Le Djoloff ... and all I can say is that I felt like I had found my long-lost... More

Stayed at Le Djoloff for a few days on a business trip. I love Dakar first of all, so being there is always a treat. The hotel was super cute, and the staff was so nice. Although we had checked out they saved us a room each so that we could shower and store our stuff before we headed to... More
