Cheap clean basic rooms. Shared bathrooms but the showers are great. Walking distance to the city centre to the gizosi memorial. Near the roundabout where there are enough taxis for a trip to the suburbs. St Pauls is a perfect place for basic travellers / backpackers!!

Nice rooms with warm water in the shower. A little pricey, but located in the city center. The nuns that you have to register with was not there when we wanted to speak with them, but with help of the people in the church we eventually got in contact with them!

Good pick for saving money. Double rooms from 8.000,- RWF (9 Euro/11 US$). Nice environment, park-style. Quite calm (if christians not practise choir outdoors or do ceremonies). Very central to shopping area (3min to Nakumatt, Simba etc). Beds are not comfortable, rooms are very simply furnished, but relatively clean. Shared bathroom&showers.

I have upgraded my rating from 2 stars to 3, because this time I paid the proper 8,000f, and enjoyed a hot shower, my first in Rwanda, having been here for 10.5 months. (I have had hot showers with nozzle in hand, washing myself with one hand, setting the nozzle down to switch from shampoo to soap, but never before...

The place is basically a backpackers quality guest house, don't expect much but the location in central. I have staid here many times but this past time almost cost the life of my girlfriend. The entrance to ST Paul is down a long drive way, like a long creepy alley. At night this entrance is very dark before reaching the...

I wish I never had to stay at St. Paul’s again. However, I’m a Peace Corps volunteer, and I’m planning on participating in a program in Kigali every month in 2014, so unfortunately I may have to. I showed up at 6:00 on a Sunday night, the next day being an ordinary Monday. I’d been assured by other volunteers who’d...

I stayed at St. Pauls in a basic room with shared bathrooms. Considering the price, I was not expecting much but it actually was quite suitable for my needs. This was my first time to Rwanda. Room: I had a room with two beds (with mosquito nets), a desk, and a sink. I had an outlet to plug in my...

This is an excellent place for an open-minded traveller. I was here for a number of weeks, and have absolutely no complaints. The grounds are beautiful and safe (locked at night with a guard), the rooms are comfortable, though bare. But each room comes with a sink, two single beds, a closet, and either a couple of chairs or a...
