A gated establishment with gate intercom for entry. Parking is tricky but not impossible in two areas front and back of the main building. We had a good-sized room on the upper floor with a large bathroom separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. The room had a safe and air conditioning. We had a little difficulty with the...

The Olive Grove is a little oasis in Windhoek. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It was a brilliant stay. They provided us will excellent food, free wifi, printing for our boarding passes, and had lots of little extras.

This is a large house in a quiet street not too far from the centre of Windhoek. The bedrooms are made of polished concrete but don't let that put you off. The rooms are light and spacious. Each room has his and hers basins. Food is excellent.

Spend a night at Olive Grove Windhoek in September with a friend. Rooms are standard and ok. Bathroom is just separated by a curtain from the room - NO GO! There are places on earth where I definately like my privacy. Olive Grove has a plunge pool (don´t expect to swim in it) and a sun deck. Evening started with...

We stayed here for a night at the start of a trip to Namibia. Having just got off the long flight from London to Windhoek (via SA) we drove in from the airport and found the Olive Grove to be a great place to stay for our first night. The staff were very helpful and the rooms whilst unusual had...

We stayed at there bevor our flight home - in a suite. It was impressive and the food was lovely too. Very friendly hosts. Overall a great place to stay while in Windhoek. The suite is recommended. Giant bathtub which we used and enough space to gather all things together for the flight back. Also a fast wifi in the...

This is a very good place to stop for a night when passing through Windhoek. It's only a short drive from downtown and has an above average restaurant. The staff are friendly and accommodating. One thing that is unusual is that the rooms are virtually all poured concrete even the bed frame and sinks, so don't hit your head. In...

A great place to stay in Windhoek. Very good food, interesting wine (if I can find the receipt and so remember the Namibian makers), helpful team running it. Bathroom tub very popular with the family. Room very close to the dining but that seemed to work well for us and hopefully the other guests. Good music recommendation for our driving.

We started our 3 weeks in Namibia and Botswana with one night at this guest house, after 4 in Cape Town. We arrived after dark and left early, so really did not get to see the place. But our room was very comfortable and dinner was excellent. The service was excellent also.

Stayed here the last night of a 2 week sojourn through Namibia. Everything about our experience was very good. Laid back elegance would be the best way to describe it and a bit of an oasis in what is an otherwise pretty dreary town. The service was very good and check in - out was effortless. The restaurant was very good...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Olive Grove is a small upmarket accommodation establishment situated close to the city center in a quiet, peaceful area. The guesthouse takes homely atmosphere to a different level. Recently completely refurbished, each room has been decorated and painted with new colour schemes allowing a different feel, but with the same elegant and simplistic emphasis on decor. The open-plan kitchen allows guests to see how meals are prepared, while they enjoy a drink in the lounge. The menu was also reinvented and is now fully a la carte, quite unique for a guesthouse. Home-style food is rounded off with great presentation, pushing up the level of the guesthouse dining experience. Whilst each of the eleven rooms and one suite cater for every need of the most discerning traveller, the emphasis remains one of simplicity and elegance. ... more   less
