Nice place easy to find when you go North of Windhoek. You can have a not expensive dinner. Even if the restaurant is separate. You will be awaken in the morning by lot of birds. Good breakfast encore leaving.

On our way to Zambia we were looking for a place to overnight near Windhoek. Initially we struggled to find the farm as result of lack of signboards and the road construction in the area. We were however warmly met when we arrived and the young man who is responsible for the kitchen told us that he still had Eisbein...

The 4x4 track is a nice challenge but provides magnificent views. The Restaurant serves COLD bier if not the coldest in Namibia and Hearty Food. Accommodation: Camping, Rooms and the Hut (in the mountains) all sleep well.

I love this place! We have stayed at the mountain hut, which has the most incredible view!! Eaten at the restaurant (numerous times) and every time it has been delicious!! The owners are wonderful and friendly and very accommodating! Worth every cent going for a visit! :-) Highly recommended!

A wonderful place to stay. Stunning scenery and good, clean facilities with very nice, spacious sites with own braais and taps. The grounds and bar are just stunning and the owners are lovely, very friendly and accommodating family. Would defiantly suggest this as a stopover for anyone looking to stay out of the centre of Windhoek.

We had a wonderful stay at the Guestfarm Elisenheim. We did a nice hike to the dam and enjoyed the kayaking on the small lake in the middle of the dry land. There is an nice hut in the middle of the mountains with a breathtaking view. The food and drinks in the restaurant were excellent. The family that runs...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this guest farm. We appreciate the hospitality and helpfulness. The owners have managed to keep the German tradition alive. Something that is fast disappearing in Namibia. I give you full marks.

it was our last night in Namibia. May that is the reason why we were all rather disappointed by this guest house. It may have experienced more splendid days in the past, but now furniture and equipment are rather oldish, ugly and run down. Rooms and bathrooms were not really clean, old, the carpets from dirty to disgusting - depending...

The Elisenheim campsite us the only one in the Windhoek area that I've found that has shady, grassy spots. The bar is run on an "honesty" basis and this just reflects the relaxed nature of this guestfarm. It's possible to leave your vehicle here if you need to go home, there's a workshop and Andreas the owner is always ready...
