There is no sign out front, but this hotel is well situated, both for the view of the Niger River and for access to the city. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are adequate, certainly by African standards, and the place is quiet and unobtrusive. Breakfast will sustain you but not inspire you. It is bread, a small glass of...

This place is so comfortable for short or long term stays. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is excellent. I love the restaurant overlooking the river. In the evenings they have local Malian artists. I had stayed a couple times when I had come on mission to Bamako when I was based in my organization’s regional office....

One of those "can't complain" places - that is, it has all the basics that make a stay convenient such as clean bathroom, clean bedding, mosquito protection and convenient location to get around Bamako and the airport side of the river. Most evenings there is pleasant live Malian music as a backdrop and this can be quite pleasant watching silhouettes...

good service, good menu, good location (for me since my meetings were in Badalaboubou Est and also right across the bridge in ACI2000). Staff were very helpful in storing luggage since I had to travel on mission and return.

Stayed 10 days for a business trip. Beautiful setting, well laid out. Food excellent. Plan to return and recommend to corporate colleagues. Only downside was uneven internet, fixed that with purchase of a flash drive modem.

I've stayed here several times on business 2014-15. The location is nice though the view of the river is not enhanced by the 3m metal fence. There is good music here most of the time, but sometimes it is not so pleasing. The rooms are comfortable, both in the riverside and across the street in the annex (though here you...

This boutique hotel is comparable to none in Mali in terms of style. Villa Soudan is filled with really beautiful and stunning carvings and other works of art. It is beautiful and set on the beautiful river. Fortunately they provide mosquito nets and spray to guests - recognizing that mosquitoes are unavoidable. The staff are very pleasant, non-intrusive, and this...

This place seems to improve every time I visit it. The welcome is pleasant; the rooms are comfortable, cool and well ventilated. Everything in the bathrooms works. The dining area is an open area which is sometime a problem with insects in the evening. The view of the Niger River is appreciated but it would be nice if the dining...

I stayed here for two weeks and loved the location, the stunning view, the friendly atmosphere, and the spacious room. The quality of the food is very good and the choice of wine was better than in a much more expensive hotel. All the staff are delightful and take special care to remember guest names and assist with anything needed....

A peaceful, small, boutique hotel. This is a really great place to stay in Bamako. It is right on the banks of the river, so the view is pretty great. The staff are extremely friendly. Although the location in Bamako itself is in a lovely area, there is also very good security - they check everyone before allowing entry e.g....
