I stayed here for 2 nights during my last days in Tana. For approximately $70 CAD I was very disappointed that the shower curtain in my room (number 22) had mildew all over the shower curtain. Next day I asked the cleaning staff to change the curtain and even they seemed to be disgusted by what they saw. The restaurant... More

I wanted to return to the famous Sakamanga, but as it was booked up I went to the Ribaudière instead. Its turned out to be a good choice. Comfortable, tastefully furnished, nice garden restaurant with good breakfasts and meals in general. Conveniently located above the town market. A bit expensive but its good quality so you get what you pay... More

I got a room with a separate entrance (not connected to the main building or the reception) which was very convenient. The room itself was big and clean, the staff was very kind. The wifi and aircon worked fine. I would stay there again.

Excellent little hotel in Tana - well located for tourist locations, excellent restaurant and very comfy rooms. Owner is friendly and they offer day use of rooms which is very handy for anyone on the late night flight to Paris. Recommended.

La Ribaudiere is a lovely hotel located in the heart of Tana. The staff is courteous and helpful, the rooms are great (although a tad small, but that isn't a bummer), the bar is well-stocked and the food is to die for. We spent four nights at La Ribaudiere over two weeks in Madagascar (three nights when we first got... More

A lovely, safe and clean hotel with wonderful & accommodating staff located on a quiet street. We arrived late one evening, were warmly welcomed by the manager and still served an absolutely delicious dinner even though it was about 11pm! Sat in the conservatory area which has a lovely atmosphere. The room we booked was a "Family Suite" as that... More

Small hotel with different size rooms with different comfort/noise levels. I stayed in the annex across the road which has very nice and relatively new rooms. The annex next door has bigger rooms, apartment style, but are less up to date. The rooms in the hotel itself are more noisy, especially the ones above the bar and restaurant. All in... More

In city central, yet very calm and well hidden. They made an artistiqu atomosphere using wood, steel, glass, tropical trees and antiques. The restaurant offers very good food both meat and fish. The room was compact but well equiped with AC, TV, wifi and so on. They also accept VISA and Master card.
