We stayed in this place for 2 nights on our way out from Madagascar. Due to limited flights and the erratic services of Air Madagascar, we were forced to spend 2 nights at this place with out much to do in Tana. There certainly is an amount of prostitution in adjacent streets, but it is not aggressive, and probably attracted to the area by the presence of good hotel. The rooms are large and reasonably appointed, good shower pressure. The Restaurant...

Central Hotel rooms are up to the standard of the Carlton or La Louvre and a third of the price. The location is as accessible as the others, but the area is a little questionable. If you are looking for a decent room at a reasonable price, and are not too fussed about what happens outside, this is a very...

Always nice and clean. Though surroundings still a bit hectic at night with night club close by. Rooms are very tidied up they even upgraded me to executive room even without asking. New change from last visit is the restaurant which provides much better breakfast and diner a la carte was good also
