A delightful African style hotel. The staff are dedicated to ensuring a memorable experience in the resturant U can dine inside or down by the beach. A wooden pailing fence keep hawalkers away from guests. The menue is a delight with tasty traditional food as well as old favorites.

I stayed at Afia Beach Hotel with my family earlier this month. There was about an equal balance of positives and negatives, and overall I thought the place has potential, following some improvements. In terms of location, the hotel is situated in a fairly dead street with quite a rough, dusty road leading to it (as in my attached photo),...

I never came here to sleep but to spend the day near the beach. Afia has several table setting near the beach. Behind a fence but one can still see through and watch the waves. Yes we all know the water is dirty but apart from this this is a chilled place to hang out. Chicken. Yam chips and fries...

Whilst travelling through Ghana enroute business in Nigeria, I wanted a place to cool my heel that was proximate to the airport, downtown, and on the water. The Afia Beach Hotel ticked all of those boxes and -- judging by the mix of other local and international tenants -- they thought so, too. It's certainly a boutique experience, laid out...

I'm not used to hotel pricing in Ghana, so maybe accommodations are generally outrageously expensive. In any case, for $150 night I wouldn't stay here again. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food was fine, and in some cases quite good. The beach was not strewn with trash as other reviewers had said - apparently that's been cleaned...

It is a nice place and a good restaurant BUT some points really spoilt the experience. 1- the kitchen and bar doesn t wait for all clients to be gone to close. In week time everything shuts down at 10pm. Limited beverage only can be served by night guard and if the dinner is long you can t even ask...

The photos don't really do the place much justice. The last 500 yards to the hotel don't look inviting but once there it all changes for the good. The bungalows were clean and spacious with hot water, fan and a/c. We reported the A/c not working in room 3 and the staff came to check it straight away and because...

We spent the first two nights of our Ghana trip here, and it was a nice place to unwind after a long, long flight! Its location right on the beach lent it a relaxed, informal vibe, with the sea breeze and sound of the crashing waves. There was a nice outdoor area by the beach, and although there was a...

While for the price perhaps reasonable for Accra, this is a place I have decided never to stay in again. The rooms are not particularly nice, plumbing is showing in the bathroom, service is rather inadequate and internet generally not working. Also, the beach is dirty and full of trash. Its a shame as it could be really nice place...
