The UG Guest Centre used to be a decent budget option for travelers with business at the university itself or in the surrounding area. However, prices have recently increased rather dramatically, and now start from USD 60. The reason for the increase is what can at best be characterized as a partial and superficial renovation. Unfortunately, while they have done... More

It's quite place and the rooms are spacious and clean. AC works well. Internet is OK. Breakfast was not great. The items run out faster, May be during my stay it was overly crowded. Not very expensive too.

Dusty rooms. They didn't even bother to empty the bins or clean the bathroom before I was checked into one of the rooms.. Boring breakfast. Same thing everyday - oats, bread, sausages, eggs...EVERYDAY. The power and wifi went off sometimes and when I complained to the authorities, they didn't take it seriously. The gardeners and security were very nice, though.... More

Rooms are good , clean and WIFI is available. The ACs worked fine and staff is friendly, however, they need to do something about their food service and food varieties they offer. I would only recommend that a guest goes out to eat.

Rooms are cheap and the staff is great. The 2 paves buildings are separated by nice gardens. You can choose between renovated or old style rooms - both spacious, with sofas, fridge, TV and Internet. It really worth staying. The weakest point is definitely the Restaurant. Breakfast is creepy, scarce and only has Nescafé, sliced bread, butter and oily eggs.... More

Stayed here with a group for school. The place wasn't bad for a seasoned African traveller, but it wasn't outstanding either. Breakfast was decent, but they never seemed to have enough food ready. The place was clean and tidy and other than getting bathmats for towels all the time, it was good. The WiFi was good and the AC worked.... More

I stayed in a "New Bedsitter". The room was big and clean, with a desk and some comfortable chairs. The AC, fridge, Wifi, and TV worked fine. The bathroom was bug free, although a bit ragged around the edges. The restaurant is OK, although better for lunch or dinner than breakfast. Service was slow and the atmosphere inside was a... More

Stayed here with a group through my school. The accommodations were less than desirable but considering the price it was not bad. Great location at the University of Ghana though. Beautiful school in a beautiful city.
