My partner, Ian and I travelled to Ghana in 2015 (my review made at the time seems to have disappeared, so I am reposting). It is a lovely guesthouse, very welcoming and Seth and his wife are fantastic hosts. We travelled out from Glasgow, Scotland as tourists and to re-visit Ghana as I had attended boarding school in Ghana years...

I travel to Ghana 3 to 4 times per year and this is my home. Seth and Dorothy have become more like family than owners of the guest house. Their staff are trustworthy and helpful. The rooms are always clean and the beds comfortable. Recent installation of solar panels. Also a back up generator and hot showers with great water...

The Osdahouse Home Lodge was an excellent choice for a long stay in Accra. The rooms were cleaned and maintained very efficiently and the staff members were very helpful. Dr. Seth took care to ensure that all aspects of my stay were satisfactory. He even personally introduced me to the neighborhood and Accra. Routine power interruptions were not an issue...

Visited with my 3yrs old and had a lovely time! The team were patient and very caring. I can't wait to stay again! The room was cleaned everyday, I was allowed to use the kitchen for my daughter and they even arranged transport on occasions. Thanks to a great team

This place is beautiful! Simple, but has everything you need and the staff were amazing - really helpful and friendly and able to help us with anything we needed. Granted we got a special reduced price when we booked but it was incredible value for money! If I'm ever back in Accra I'll be staying here again! The location is...

All I would say is below 1. Mr Seths Team is very honest and Caring - first hand proof was when I left USD1000 in my trousers and gave them for washing. They were promptly returned the next day. I was so thankful. 2. They really care about their guests - i was picked up at 12:00 AM from Accra...

A friend and u stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms are lovely, clean and spacious. Good shower! The staff are super friendly, always happy to help. Great breakfasts included (eggs and toast, standard fare in West Africa). The only downside is that it is a little far from the centre. Can get expensive if you are taking taxis. Excellent...

My wife and I stayed in Osdahouse for three nights in December 2015. The owners and staff create a cozy, family-like atmosphere. The grounds and rooms are clean and comfortable. The A/C is a big plus, given the hot temperature outside, with a back-up generator providing electricity during the occasional black-outs. The only downside is the location, which is some...

“I stayed in corner rooms in the main house. Room 4 is close to the kitchen so if you are not a early riser you might want to avoid this room. Staff start preparing breakfast at 0800. You can get an earlier breakfast if you let Samuel or the other young men know. The apartment has a large t.v. but the other rooms have very small t.v. The neighborhood is very quiet so you will not have to worry about vehicles. There was a rooster in the area but he was subdued most mornings.”
