The hotel is advertised as a luxury hotel and the prices indicate the same but in fact it is a very basic guest house style place. I stayed in the JMR III which is located on a quiet and nice little street close to the centre of town. The staff was nice and the rooms were spacious. The only serious...

I spent two weeks at this hotel, and given there is the best, Leger and all the rest...this is bad. Not for the accommodations as the best asset to this hotel was the shower. The biggest problem is it is extortionate, prices change daily on soda, and there is never any food in the restaurant. There are other better places...

We stayed at JM 4, the newest of the JM properties. Management charged rates that exceeded a 4 star hotel ... for a long term apartment. The apartment had a kitchen (room), with no stove and midget refrigerator and very few tools. Electricity was sporadic. All 3 air conditioners burned up during our stay. Water was an orange/brown (filter rarely...

Ask the expat community in Bangui, CAR where to stay, the almost universal response is the JM Residences. For good reason. The hotels are well run and the folks who run them seem honorable and attentives. Why? Here's my story at my experience at the "JM3" and the JM hotel. The JM3 is an apartment complex for longer term visitors....

I stayed at JM Residence 2 in June 2011, i must admit that it was a very pleasant stay except a day of water outage which i had to manage a bucket to bath. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant stay and the employees were very helpful at all times, i would recommend it to anyone who plans...

The JM Residence is small and has limited room availability, but if you are lucky enough to get a reservation, it's the best option in the city. The room I stayed in was small but clean. The bathroom did not have a real shower, it consist of a plastic "showering area", drain hole and a shower nozzle. It is almost...

JM Residences 3 (near Cathedral) is a small, safe, and clean hotel. The rooms are bare bones -- the bedroom has a double bed, one tiny night table, an armoire. No table or chair or luggage rack so unless you ask for a chair, your luggage will go on the floor. There is hot water, electricity, and the sheets and...

JMResidence 3 was where we stayed. The bookings were obtained after much discussions with the local sponsor and the JMR management. Having stayed here on the previous visit, this was the first choice because of the newness of the property and the cleanliness associated. It is a comfortable place to stay in Bangui and has the french TV stations plus...

Bangui is definitely not a tourist place! Looking at the reviews of hotel in Bangui alarmed me and i decided to stay at JM residences. Probably this is the best place which is clean, secure and safe. There are 3 to 4 different properties of JM residences and I stayed at JM Residences 3. This place is basically group of...
