Located in a nice neighbourhood in a quiet street, it is like being at home rather than travelling. Rooms are good and garden superb. It is good for business as it is quiet. It may be a bit far from nightlife and other attractions. Close to embassies, delegations and UN.

Traci and I travelled to Zimbabwe to see Traci's new born grand child and stayed for 4 nights at Bowood. Christine made us very welcome and the room and facilities were top class. Enjoyed my early coffee on the patio watching the guinea fowl walk around. Our breakfasts were as one would expect from a top class B and B....

Have now stayed twice at Bowood and had an excellent experience on both occasions. A peaceful place, yet close to most of the amenities of this side of Harare. Arundel shops are just around the corner with two excellent places to eat. The university is close by and most of Harare is highly accessible. Christine is an excellent hostess friendly...

I have just spent 4 nights at Bowood Lodge, in one of the largest rooms I have ever slept in, with a bathroom to match - the bathroom was bigger than my bedroom at home. I was very well cared for by the staff, who really had a personal touch. I shared the garden with three tame guinea fowl and...

Another lovely stay at Bowood. Christine and Kirsten are fantastic hosts and the lodge is as comfortable as ever and the large garden is a beautiful spot to relax in. Bowood Is a five minute walk from Arundel shops with easy access to supermarket, shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Recommended for short and long stays.
