You are in the middle of nowhere and then you come upon this very hospitable property. It was wonderful, the food was good, service was good, the room (tent) had two large beds, en suite bath and shower, wildlife noises everywhere. Staff found my Kindle in room after we left, and coordinated it's return to us to a remote location....

A tent camp that had a pool with solar hot water system and power. Food and service were excellent. We had sunset drinks overlooking the area as well as sunrise views were fantastic. Security guards take you back to your tent at night.

This has to be number one among the great up-scale camps at which we stayed on our safari. Well-designed tent accommodations with comfortable furnishings and clever distribution on the property; staff is serious about service and customer satisfaction; food is top-drawer. This "tent" environment is far better for the experience than most stick- and stone-built facilities in the general area....

As lovely as expected based on the great reviews. Rock hyrax scurry around and other animals wander through. We were in tent number 2 with a fallen tree right next to it. The reviewer on August 19, 2016 mentions an elephant pushing it over. That must have been amazing. At night we heard lions roaring nearby ! No noise. Very...

This camp is a long drive from the nation park gate but certainly worth the extra travel. Great location, fantastic staff, very well prepared food and superb tents. Animals often roam through the tents at night. One of the best hotels that we used during 3 week stay in Tanzania and Zanzibar. From here the central areas of the Serengeti...

There is no better tropical savvana than here at the Serengeti. Set around a very green rocky terrain, Mbuzi Mawe is very classy in its tented accommodation and has larger than usual bedroom and bathroom spaces. There was not much animal sightings near the camp, but this would vary with animals migrating at different times of the year. Sleeptime was...
