My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights in Chaka camp at the end of January 2017. Although the wildebeest migration was not around the camp made our stay unforgettable. Those 2 nights gave us a break from camping safari and were just perfect. The rooms (luxury tents) are spatious and beautiful. The staff makes your experience very special by taking...

We stayed at Chaka camp for several days and were greeted by the camp workers with a song. The tents were awesome with plenty of space, flush toilets and warm showers. The food was great and the people were very friendly. Also there was a bar with good prices. There was internet access, but it was not very good, but...

My wife and I went to Tanzania and Zanzibar for our honeymoon. Our experience at Chaka Camp (and its’ sister camp Kiota Camp) were by far, the best part of our trip. The campsite was beautiful. Our tent was phenomenal with an indoor bathroom and shower. The food was exquisite. The staff was helpful and provided amazing customer service. We...

This is the third of three camps we stayed in during our visit to Tanzania and they were all excellent. Room, view, staff, food I can't overstate how much we enjoyed our experience. This camp was in Northern Serengeti and the time of year we were there the smaller southern migration was going on, a great time to visit!

When we arrived greeted with a hot towel and drink. We then went to the reception tent for a briefing. This was the last night before the camp was being taken down and move as usual in order to follow the animal migrations. Food, accommodations, service was excellent.

Can't recommend more, staying in Chaka was really like being at home, embraced with nature and wild animals, enjoyed everything with the family members. David was a very friendly and professional manager, shared his understanding and experience. All the staff there were also very nice, they took good care of us. They remembered everything we told them, at night even...

Thank you so much for your kind review, Lynn! We are so happy to hear that you had a fantastic experience overall for a very reasonable price! We would absolutely welcome you again...perhaps next time to the location in the south (Ndutu) to see the migration in a different area? Karibu tena!

This camp is nice for being mobile. I mention this because since they are mobile they keep things light and portable so they do not have some of the luxuries of permanent camps. But what they lack in creature comforts they make up for with service and more importantly location. We were in the North right next to the Mara...

Hello Rob! Thanks so much for your positive review. So glad to hear you had the fortune to see two crossings! Hope you have a chance to come back and see the migration in the south as well. Thanks also for your comment about wishing there was more Tanzanian food. The chefs typically switch between Western and Tanzanian food for...

We had a fantastic time at Chaka Camp. Situated close to the Mara River (at least some part of the year), the camp offers a great starting point for your safaris, and we sure didn't miss out on anything. The great location is coupled with a wonderfully furbished camp, with delicious food and a very charming staff. Watching the sunsets...

We stayed in Chaka Camp for 3 nights. Camp's location is excellent for wildebeest migration tours. This camp is really nice with excellent staff and very well appointed tents. Food was very good. We enjoyed it very much. It's close to all Mara River Crossings and easily accessible, also close to Kogatende Airport for flights back. Highly recommend it.

From the minute you pull up and are greeted with a cold cloth for your face and a refreshing glass of juice to the time you lay down to rest in your own 25x15 ft (approx) well appointed tent you will be pampered- the staff is GREAT! Do you have any special food preferences or allergies? What time would you...
