Wow! We arrived in Arusha and were escorted with a guide from Asilia. His name was Venant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, gracious and welcoming to his country. With an experience like this from one of the guides from Asilia, I should have had no doubt that everyone at the camp was the same. Well, they were! I highly recommend staying...

Arriving after an amazing experience in the Maasai Mara, my husband and I were excited for our stay in the Serengeti. However, we were largely disappointed with the overall experience. Upon arrival to the Kogatende airstrip, we waited for an extremely long time for the hotel staff to finish the park paperwork (far longer than any of the other folks...

Dear Kelly and Justin, We appreciate the honest feedback and are very sorry to hear that your experience at Ubuntu didn't live up to your expectations. Based on your and other guests feedback about the long wait at Kogatenda airstrip whilst the National Park authorities process the paperwork, we have employed a full time airstrip attendant based at Kogatenda. His...

This beautifully located luxury tented camp was a perfect location for our animal viewing in the Western Serengeti. Zebulon, our manager and host, was very gracious and made certain that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was fantastic (served on heated plates!), the staff spoke excellent English and could not do enough for us. The wine was superb...

Hello Thanks for your lovely review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your safari at Ubuntu and that you also enjoyed the the food, wine and all staff. I believe you were in tent number one on the eastern side of the camp where most of the action happens. We hope to see you again in Ubuntu. Warm regards, Zablon,...

This may have been one of the best experiences of my life. I have to say this is the best staff I have ever experienced. It is the definition of East African hospitality. Just think about it...there were 24 staff for just 12 guests. That's 2:1 and very hard to find elsewhere. David and Able were awesome. And, our guide...

We stayed at Ubuntu for 4 nights to unwind after a 3 week trip. The camp did not disappoint us, all the staff were great under the guidance of David and Abel ensuring everything ran smoothly. Our guide (Mwensheshe, apologies if spelt incorrectly) managed to see animals for miles without any binoculars!!! A very knowledgeable guide who seemed to have...

We had a great 2 night stay at Ubuntu. Abel, David and the rest of the staff were extremely friend and service oriented. We had great food, clean private 2-person tents with bathroom and shower, and very comfortable beds. We were there at the peak of the wildebeest migration (mid June) so the place was teeming with wildlife. Only piece...

We enjoyed the Western Corridor with its remoteness and lack of crowd, as compared to Central Serengeti. The camp is amazing led by David. He and his staff made us feel at home. The meals were wonderful. Our first experience with bucket showers was a little comical. We ordered two showers and the 2nd person had 10sec of water before...
