This was a vacation of a lifetime! Absolutely everything about our three night stay in Ubuntu camp was perfect. Thank you David, Abel and the rest of your hardworking staff. The service you all provided was unbelievable considering we were in the middle of the Serengeti. The bucket showers were so refreshing at the end of each day. Thank you...

We spent 4 nights at Ubuntu and can't say enough good things about it. The manager, David, and his assistant Abel, made us a great vacation and we laughed every hour with them. The chief chef, Anthony, is a wonderful cook and a hilarious guy to know. For 4 days our guide was Elia, he was perfect. Incredible eye sight,...

Our family has been fortunate to enjoy the safari experience several times in the past 10 years. There is no doubt that touring the Serengeti is the best adventure of them all. There are lots of quality camps in the north of the reserve close to the infamous Mara River, scene of the annual drama which is the wildebeest migration....

Our guide in this camp was amazing, and the wildlife viewing top notch. We were disappointed in the food however, finding most proteins tough & overcooked. The chef was a really sweet man...wish we had liked his food as much as we liked him! We had some electricity issues during our stay, so there was a shortage of ice. At...

Thank you so much for your honest review. At Asilia we value constructive feedback and use it to improve our service offering across the Asilia brand. Its a pity our food did not meet your expectations. We have addressed these issues with Antony (chef), and after a brief training, he has already improved with his steaks. Everyone loved his steak...

This was our first adventure to the Serengeti and Ubuntu Camp did not diappoint. They are 5 stars in our book and there is nothing we could suggest to improve the food, service, amenties or staff. This was a once in a life time experience and we will use the Asilia camps in the future. The staff is what bakes...

Dear Susan Thank you very much for your wonderful review, and that we didn’t disapoint you in anyway. The Leopard we named Chubaka is now a camp resident and spotted now and again. We hope you will visit him soon. Warm greetings to you from the African bush. Best regards David, Abel and the Ubuntu team.

This was the final stop on our African Safari. It was an amazing experience. I cannot express how wonderful this tent camp was for us. The rooms were very luxurious with running water for washing, flush toilet and a hot shower. We had real beds. I slept so well with the lullaby of hundreds of wildebeest. The food was very...

Dear Andi Thanks for this remakable review. The lullaby's of the thousand wildebeests still echo around our pristine spot in the Serengeti. Our bush 'music' so to speak. Antony the chef is very happy you enjoyed the meals he prepared. Glad you saved the best for the last. I am being cheeky here. Best wishes and hope to see you...

Ubuntu Camp (North) was absolutely excellent - we can't recommend this highly enough. It was the high spot of our entire holiday. It was our first tented safari - and an experience that we would certainly want to repeat. From the wake-up call with a tray of tea/coffee, watching the sun rise through the tent window, to breakfast outside -...

The Ubuntu Camp and its staff are first class. David and Abel, the camp managers, know your names and preferences (including vegetarian meals in our case) on your arrival at camp. The staff is so welcoming and make you feel special in every way. We were lucky to have a private driver, Ebenezer. His knowledge of birds as well as...

If you want the real experience of Africa, with local hospitality, second to none, then Ubuntu is your camp! I have experienced in over 20 years more than 10 safaris of varying types (walking, canoeing, camping, tented...). Ubuntu is up there as probably the best. Since watching David Attenborough as a kid I have dreamed of seeing the Wildebeest migration....
