Kati Kati tented camp is in an ideal location. The camp overlooks a valley running down to lake ndutu, a valley we dubbed giraffe valley! Upon arrival we counted 20+ giraffes in view from our tents front "door". The food was good, if not spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even educatin us on some of the many...

loved it! experiencing the Serengeti overnight is a must. staying in the tents is brilliant. you hear the animals at night especially the hyenas and wilderbeast who hand around close to the camps. out of this world. the tents were great. there was a double bed, flushing toilet and warm shower. nothing flash, but then it wouldn't be camping if...

I stayed at the Tanganyika Kati Kati Camp in September 2016 during a 5 day safari trip covering Kenya & Tanzania. The website pictures do not encapsulate what an experience it truly is. You are literally in the middle of the Serengeti..surrounded by animals (you go to sleep hearing animals) and you wake up to this glorious sun and sky....

We're a family with 3 small kids. we stayed in the family tent with 2 bed rooms. The king size bed was big enough for 4,7, and 9 year old kids. We had hot shower from the water tank outside. It was fun to yell to outside "more water please !!!". Staffs' service were perfect and foods were very good....

We spent three nights here and were extremely well taken care of by a wonderful staff. The food was surprisingly good given that we were in tents in the middle of nowhere with very limited facilities. The shower worked very well - always piping hot water and just enough for a quick clean after a dusty safari. The Masai who...

We stayed at KatiKati 1 (there are 11 in Serengeti). What a place! beautiful tents that made us feel safe, albeit in the wilderness. We had an elephant by our tent in the first night (heard it munching on a tree), and heard hienas and a lion. The staff is super kind - and even in a rainy day (rain...

Driving up and seeing the tents in the middle of nowhere was slightly daunting but it was amazing. We had two nights here which were amazing. En suite 'facilities' including hot showers and fully flushing toilet. Towels were provided but apart from the light, no electric. There is a charging station in the dining tent although this did get filled...

This place has everything- the friendliest and most service minded staff I have experienced in Tanzania, an incredible location in beautiful surroundings and nice, big tents. The food was good and the evening bonfire was the perfect ending to the day. I stayed two night and wish I could have stayed a lot longer.

We stayed at Kati Kati for one night during our 4 day safari trip. After reading all the reviews, I was both excited to experience the wildness of this place, and a bit worried of the true wildness feeling (like shower and stuff). After experiencing it myself, I was so happy that I got to stay there and I got...

We loved our time at Kati Kati. The tent was very clean and was a nice place to relax after a long day. The staff were very friendly and were happy to escort us in the evenings to and from dinner. We had a lot of wildlife outside our tent- so many animal noises that I barely slept for two...
