I booked Dunia camp throug Planet Africa Safari's, as I particularly wanted to stay at the Asilia property Matemwe Retreat in Zanzibar, so Willow our travel consultant recommended Dunia which is also an Asilia property as it met my criteria of being a tented camp in the Serengeti. We had previously done a safari in the Masi Mara, so if... More

Fantastic service, friendly and accommodating staff made our two night stay at Dunia Camp an unforgettable experience for all our family. All the staff were excellent but Angel and Joseph were exceptional. The camp is in a great location for game viewing and was recommended to us by African Travel Resource who also provided excellent service and advice. The tents... More

We stayed at Dunia Camp three nights. We loved the staff, and Angel was especially friendly and accommodating. The tents were nice and the food was okay. I would say that you are paying for the location and the fact that it is a mobile camp that has zero carbon print. In other words, you are paying a lot of... More

Our two nights in Dunia were just great! Friendly, nice welcome from very service minded staff. Nice game drives including 32 (!) lions, leopard, cheetah, python, secretary bird and flamingos; very good guides. Nice meals and accommodation. Listening to lions, hyenas and zebras "talking" at night. Last morning having breakfast looking out over the plains at a line of zebras... More

Dunia Camp is a beautiful and well established camp south of the Seronera area of the Serengeti. It is in a quiet location with 9 tents, a lovely communal lounge and eating area. The tents are spacious, with a sitting area and large bathroom with a flush toilet and bucket showers. Everything that you need to relax in the bush.... More

A glorious camp set on the side of a small hill with excellent access to the kopjes nearby which was one of my favourite areas in the Serengeti. Dunia Camp is a lovely tented camp with large tents and great amenities. Bathrooms are spacious and bucket showers are steaming hot with flush toilets in the rooms. Meals were delicious and... More

Our party of six from South Africa visited Dunia earlier in June. Our experience there was truly wonderful! From the moment we were met by Angel, the camp manager and her team we knew we had arrived at a special place - we were served drinks, a delicious lunch and shown to our tents. They were pure luxury with such... More

This was my second visit to Dunia Camp as I stayed there in 2011. Since then, many amenities have been added to make the camp even more beautiful and comfortable. The staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and made sure our every need was met. They loved our practical jokes including a remote control snake and took it all in... More

My husband and I simply loved Dunia Camp! It brought the safari experience up close and personal and we got a kick out of the total experience: the campfires at night with guests (bush TV), the communal supper at night, the bucket showers, and the sights and sounds of the animals all around! What could be better! We stayed here... More
