Stayed 2 nights with my male business partner. Had booked a standard deluxe room that they advertise to be 51m2 but was in reality 20m2; wouldn't be bad they review their geometry! I was upset that l had to pay a supplement of 20$/night to get very narrow and squeaky twin beds. Very bad storage space for clothing; just 2...

Not the greatest journey to get here - traffic horrendous, so much so we had to walk the last street or two having left our taxi because of a ridiculous jam. We had heard the Dar traffic was bad, but didn't expect it to be this bad! Nonetheless this hotel provided an excellent base to relax for a night before...

This hotel isn't much to look at from the outside but is good value for money, very friendly staff, decent restaurant and very clean, comfortable rooms. Wi-fi available although it went a few times. Nothing to complain about. Would recommend to others who are transiting through Dar es Salaam as good place to use.

Outside is pretty rough --plenty of traffic and dirt roads, but security at the front door and a lovely reception area make you instantly welcome. My room was very good,air-con plus ceiling fan, TV, fridge, plenty of tea and coffee with room service to back up any other needs. Lovely clean bathroom/shower with lots of fresh clean towels and shampoos and...

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times during the one trip to Tanzania. Using the hotel as a base to travel to the Serengeti and other national parks, Zanzibar and Arusha was great. The staff from the manager down well all very friendly and went out of their way to assist 24/7. When we travelled to other areas they...

Was at the Hotel March 17-19, in a group of 5. The hotel is on a busy street in the centre of Dar. Found our reservations even after coming from the airport at 1am. Rooms are adequately furnished, problem is the AC that is directly facing the bed. WIFI has good speeds with computer in the lobby. Dining was fair...

It took the taxi almost an hour to find this hotel due to traffic from the airport and not sure its location. We saw dirt roads within the city and questioned the hotel's location. Finally the cabbie found the hotel and it was a delightful surprise - modern, clean, well located with Indian management. The restaurant had an Indian and...

If you are staying at Nikko's don't expect a Luxury Service, conditions or amenities. But it is for sure a Very Good place to stay during short stays, or in business trips. In general, the rooms are small and sometimes the internet has some fails. But the hotel is clean, good location, you can have very nice meals for a...
