My husband and I stayed here one night on route to Zanzibar. The motel is clean and modern and definitely good value at $75USD per night ! We had an air conditioner which was a god send and our room was clean & tidy. We ate at the Lebanese resturant for dinner. It was well priced and the hummus was...

The hotel is located downtown, very close to Zanzibar ferry port. The prices are budget range. The rooms are small - the single rooms are very small; the double rooms are ok for a single person, can get congested for two people. At best, this can be considered as a transit hotel. Complimentary Breakfast, served at the attached lebanese restaurant,...

I've stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Ask for a double even if you are staying by yourself. The "single" rooms are tiny. Nice that the breakfast comes with the price.

A local hotelier recommended this for downtown convenience, and close to ferry. Apparently recently renovated. Manager is hands-on; I found the staff pleasant. The first room I was offered, the electronics needed resetting on both the safe and TV cable, so manager switched me quickly. My room was clean: I opted for the deluxe double. The view left much to...

We spent one night here in transit from Dar to Stone Town. The hotel is clean and reasonably priced. The reception staff also helped us get a ticket on the boat to Zanzibar the next day. The area is nothing special but it is approx. 10 mins walk to the port to take the boat. Breakfast is served next door...

It is right in the middle of the city and quite convenient to travel to various locations. If you on a business trip, this is an extremely good option at a attractive value point. However avoid booking the single room - it is very very small. Even if you are alone book the double room. The hotel has no restraunt,...

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, had a standard room, which had a comfortable double bed, good bathroom, everything functioning properly, only complaint was that the A/C is a bit noisy. Weekend room rates are lower that the week rates, so I ended up paying less than expected. Breakfast at the adjoining building at the Lebanese restaurant was...

Nice clean room, and a great shower, but every time I left the hotel and came back to the room, the key pass to the room wouldn't work, which meant hauling luggage back through the hotel and down to reception where they would then re-scan the card and hand it back, a process that I would usually have to repeat...
