I, Melachi ibn Amillar, being of unsound mind and body, did visit the Bedroom Hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I confess I was a little intimidated on entering this place due to the demolished ambience of the street and the suspicious attitude of the receptionist. However, the room was fine with aircon, ceiling fan, wifi and was nicely cleaned....

Appalling storage and staff attitude. Rats ate through luggage/ suspicious knife marks in locker but staff unwilling to fairly compensate... instead misbehaved with elderly parents and overcharged room rate. Very disappointed

I stayed for 10 nights in this hotel. Good things about this hotel is, it has a very good location. There are interesting places which one can go by walking. The hotel is very neat and clean. The room and bathroom was very clean. Customer service was also good. Things which I didn't like about the hotel was, the mattress...

To be sure, The Bedroom is not what one who lives in other parts of the world might call luxurious. I do understand where some of the negative reviews have come from. The wifi was neither strong nor reliable. The shower did not have enough water pressure to function as a shower one might find in more privileged parts of...

The hotel was comfortable enough. However we asked them to sort out a taxi for us to the airport before we arrived and they quoted 50000tzs for a short journey which was extremely expensive. We ended up getting an uber for 1/5 of the price. Don't get a taxi through them if you want to save money.

I've been using this hotel in case of business trip to Dar for about one year, because of affordable price and reliable security. Besides stuff are all friendly. Construction works of buildings on the other side was annoying, but it has been better recently.

This is one of those hotels permeated by a general sense of ennui. With its underlying sense of death and decay, our room felt like a recycled hospice space. The staff were all pleasant enough, though I wouldn't have been surprised if one of them had slipped us a note saying "Please help, call police," as it didn't seem that...

Clean rooms. Helpful staff. For us, who had never been to Dar before, the hotel was located in a really terrible area. Not really close to anything we wanted to see. We arrived late at night, but was not sure if it was safe walking around in the nearby area to find something to eat (really dark street). Luckily the...

Very clean hotel and quite nice for the price they are charging. Also it's quiteclose to the ferry. We were leaving early in the morning, at 5 am way before breakfast and the staff were more than happy to pack a breakfast for us, which we found awaiting us at the reception as we checked out at 4.30 am.The guard helped...

Nicest budget-end hotel I have found in Dar. The staff were mostly very helpful, my only criticism is that there was a lack of clarity about services available. For example, there was a card in my room saying that room service for food was available, but when I asked about it, I was told I had to go and find...
