The options are limited in Meknes, so perhaps this is still the best bet in town. However, the suites are a bit frayed around the edges, the television didn't work, the windows need shutters to block the light from the courtyard, and the bathroom had a slight sewer smell. The parking attendants also charge exhorbinant rates (by Moroccan standards), although...

We spent 4 nights in this amazing palace. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to one of the 4 suites which are set around a cool tiled patio. Didi had 4 wives, each of them had her own quarters on the ground floor of what is now referred to as Riad Palais Didi. Today Palais Didi is a real masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship.
