After an intensive surftrip we spent our last night in Marrakesch at this relaxing place. Habib was a perfect host. He picked us up in the centre of Marrakesch and guided us to the hotel. He organised the washing of the rental car overnight so we could spend a relaxing evening at the market of Marrakesch which is only a...

Habib was very helpful and made sure we had a great stay. He went above and beyond. The room was fab and had a cute balcony overlooking to courtyard. I would recommend arranging a taxi from the airport with the riad as well as it can be difficult to find the place for the first time. Really enjoyed our stay...

It was wonderful to stay at Riad Davia - it was a small oasis from the chaos of Marrakesh. We stayed initially for a few days before traveling to other cities in Morocco, and then we came back to spend the last few days of our vacation there. The riad is small, only 5 rooms, and it immediately feels very...

This riad was very elegant in decor and charming. It was nice to come back from the chaos of Marrakech to a place of calmness and comfort. The breakfast was different both days and was definitely something to look forward to. Habib did a great job in managing to arrange a wonderful day out for the family. The staff provided...

My boyfriend surprised me with a visit to Marrakech for my birthday. Usually I would choose our accommodation as I can be quite fussy about where I stay, so there was some pressure on him to choose somewhere I'd like, but Riad Davia didn't disappoint! Yes it's a little walk from the main square but we loved walking through the...

I had such high expectations for our trip to Morocco. It's someplace I've wanted to experience for as long as I remember, and Riad Davia was the perfect place to stay to soak up the culture and authentic spirit of Marrakesh. Not only is the riad beautiful and relaxing, but my husband and I have made lifelong friends in our...

This place was incredible, perfect size, lovely courtyard style traditional Riad in the Marrakech Mèdina with a slight boutique touch. Really felt at home over there especially with Habib's hospitality, as he really took care of us like a good friend and made sure we where we'll situated in and outside of the Riad. Very trust worthy and knowledgeable and...

Amazing Riad in the centre of The Medina. Wonderful welcome and treatment by the manager of the house (Habib). He was always available for us, helping to find anything we needed. I would say this Riab provided an add value to our period in Marrakech. The swiming pool is seems to be smaller in the pics than in reality, and...

We should have left this review a long time ago... I'm booking a holiday for this year and it reminded me of how amazing staying at Riad Davia was! Meeting Habib was one of the highlights of our trip. He was generous, informative and entertaining. A true gentleman. The meal we had at the Riad was the best of our...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
the large patio is the center of the Riad and will prompt you to refresh in the small pool, drink a glass of tea by the centenary mulburry tree or take a nap in the large Indian beds. In its extension, guests will discover the winter living room and its amazing chimney painted in a dark brown tadellakt or traditional Morrocan plaster. Each of the three suites and five rooms has its own style: shimmering colours, old carpets and refined objects are harmoniously displayed. ... more   less

“Riad Davia is a nice, quiet spot within the crowded and chaotic medina of Marrakech. The riad's manager is polite and friendly. He is very helpful and organized several things for us, that do not belong to the 'regular hotel services' (e.g. free cups of tea, bottles of water for our journey, the delivery - in downtown Marrakech - of an item that we left in our room after our departure). Some features are to be improved, though: breakfast is moderate (no fresh juice, no fruit, no yoghurt), having a shower turns the bathroom into a swimming pool… The riad is situated within the medina, but in a part without any tourist attractions (near Bab Aylen). The disadvantage is, that you always have to walk for at least 20 minutes if you want to visit a point of interest. But on the other hand: you are in the middle of local Moroccan life! All together, Riad Davia is an agreeable place to stay for a couple of nights.”
