I stayed in Riad Abaka with 13 friends from across 3 continents, all traveling to Marrakech to celebrate a milestone birthday of a friend. Taking pride in my sense of direction, the location is perfect for access to the main road for taxis and is moments away from the Jemaa-el-Fna square and the souks. Breakfast on the roof was always...

I spent three nights at this peaceful and nice Riad. It is a short walk to the main plaza in Marrakech. The hosts (Laurent and Sarah) were excellent ones at all times. The staff (Mouna and Scheherazade) were very helpful and gracious. I was able to communicate with the staff using my "rusty" knowledge of French. I dined at the...

The Riad was a wonderful oasis from the excitement of Marrakech and the staff were warm welcoming and helpful at all times. I would recommend getting an airport transfer as it would have been difficult to find without one but the location was great once you knew where you were!

We spent four nights here and it was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is an oasis of elegance and calm; it was the perfect place to relax after busy hours in the souks and streets. (The souks are about three minutes walk, and the main square is less than five.) The staff were incredibly friendly and looked after us really...

Riad Abaka was just a seven minute walk to the main square of Marrakech.. We originally tried to get into the Riad Magellan but it was full and Abaka is managed by the same company so we took it. In retrospect we should have looked around for a more upscale riad. The breakfast was good. The room was comfortable with...

We arrived at midnight at this great riad after travelling 20 hours from Canada. Philippe had arranged for a taxi from the Marrakesh airport to an entrance gate of the medina, and then a nice young gentlemen with a cart took our luggage and escorted us through the medina labyrinth to Abaka. We were given a beautiful, spacious room (#1)...

Very quiet, clean, close to La Place, close to the souks, very friendly staff This is a lovely, clean and comfortable riad, about 7 minutes walk from the main square (triangle!) Jemaa el Fna, and even closer to the souks, but once inside you would think you were in the middle of nowhere. My girlfriend and I stayed for 2...

I recently stayed at Riad Abaka and would really love to express my sincere gratitude toward the lovely people who worked there. They really made this an exceptional stay for me. I was staying on the second level of the riad in a quiet, peaceful room that was always kept immaculately clean. After spending a busy day in Djemaa el...

We stayed at the Riad Abaka for 2 nights at the beginning of our Morocco vacation. We had a very good stay, but with hundreds of riads to choose from in Marrakech (and many of them cheaper), I'm not sure this is the "perfect" place to stay. ROOM: We booked the cheapest room at Riad Abaka and due to it...
