Although hard to find and a little off the beaten track this Riad exudes calmness amongst the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The tranquility of the open air pool and rooftop terrace makes for a perfect place to recoup, relax and read. The staff, in particular a chap named Joel, was informative, helpful and couldn't have done more for us.

I spent a week here with my girlfriend and we both loved the place. The Taxi dropped us off in the medina, where locals were gathered doing their shopping, relaxing or getting shelter from the 40 degree heat. Motorbikes slowly weaved in between the people on foot and the smell of street food filled the air. A short walk led...

My experience with this hotel is horrible. Due to miscommunication from both sides. They have devited my creditcard. And kept the money. Even after a lot of calling etc, from my side. They kept the money. It was a very unfair situation, and I would question your stay in this hotel. As they are only after money

First time writing a review I thought it was only right to do one for Riad shama. Absolutely amazing place from the moment you walk in. Its true what previous reviews have put its a "Hidden gem" right in the middle of the busy and vibrant residential area of the medina. Staff so welcoming and attentive. Breakfast lovely continental /...

We enjoyed very much the stay. The Riad with a pool and a terrace is right at the medina gate. Very easy to reach by car what is important because cars cant drive easily in the Medina. The Riad is real oasis in the busy sometimes very loud medina. We love it. In the morning one can enjoy in the...

We were not staying here but we were invited here by family to have mint tea. We had a tour of the riad including the roof terrace and bedroom where they were sleeping. This was more than adequate, had air conditioning but only had internal windows. It was fitted out very comfortably. The internal rooms smelled of roses. While we...

I travelled with a group of three ladies for a very short break to Marrakech and stayed in this typical Riad with the open central square in which was the swimming pool.. It is situated in the area of the city beyond the souks towards the Jardin Majorelle. We had two rooms, I had a double with a quaint en-suite....

This place was our first stop off and introduction to Morocco. We stayed here 5 nights. We followed the advice on here and organised the transfer from the airport. Do this, Morocco is intimidating initially (it grows on you don't worry). You really do need the driver to walk you up to the entrance as you will not find it....

A quiet Riad which from the inside you wouldn't know you were in a bustling city. Picked up from the airport for 15€. Saved a lot of hassle for a first time visitor. Greeted warmly and by a beautiful fragrance throughout the place. Disappointed by the room which I would fail to call a delux suite. We were told that...
