Certificate of Excellence
Les Borjs de la Kasbah, a charming boutique hotel (opened in 2007). It combines all the character of a traditional riad with modern comforts and the professionalism of a dedicated staff. Close to the Royal Palace and a 15-20 minute walk from the famous Jemaa el Fna square. The hotel has 18 en suite rooms, a fully licenced bar, a Moroccan/French/International gastronomic restaurant, 3 lounges and a meeting room, all with free Wifi. There is also a secluded leisure area with a 10m swimming pool (a rarity in the Kasbah and, indeed, in the medina) and a SPA with a traditional marble-clad Hammam and treatment rooms where a variety of massages, facials and a range of other treatments can be had. Direct access to front door by car, minibus or calèche.

Response from Wyeman, Director at Les Borjs de la Kasbah
Responded 15 May 2007
We are very sorry about this problem. Unfortunately, on the date in question our computerised reservations system was not available because it was being repaired following a virus attack. But this should not have resulted in Wilhelmina's booking request being turned away, albeit unintentionally. The matter has been discussed with our Reservations and Reception staff to ensure it does not happen again. Please be assured, every booking request for our new hotel is highly valued and we have no wish to turn anyone away. A. Tayeb (Director)

Arriving at Marrakech Airport, I was met by a driver organised by the hotel and within eight minutes I had arrived at the huge city wall which encloses the Medina and through the magnificent Baba Agnaou gateway. I'm heading for the hotel through the chaotic, exciting and very

As we climbed out of the taxi late last Sunday evening and looked into the entrance hall of Les Borjs de la Kasbah, it was difficult to imagine that this was the project that had caused so much heartache and angst. Electricity seemed to have arrived and the staff were charming

We had a warm welcome from the reception staff and when we turned to go further into the hotel there was an enchanting sight; the way ahead was set out with candles in elegant lanterns at every turn and all around the courtyard. (we arrived after dark, of course!) The hotel is

I was told of this hotel by a friend, which opened at the start of 2007, and decided to make my booking, for 4 of us, for a 5 night stay (28/01-01/02). It's an 18 room affair with a spa and pool opening later in the year and is ideally located in the southern part of the Medina

Hi! How far is your place from Medina? Is it walkable or do guests take taxis?? Thank you
Yes, a very easy walk...probably even quicker than taking a taxi. I highly recommend getting the MapMe app on your phone and dropping a pin once at the hotel in order to navigate back. We did this and easily found our way around the city and safely back to the hotel time and time again.

I'm sure you'll have another satisfying stay with us. Most of our staff are still the same and they'll enjoy seeing you again and vice versa. The SPA ladies are still here (Hasna and Fatiha) so you can look forward to more treatments with them. See you soon Enchallah! Tom (Director)
