The riad is located very close to the entrance of the median. Taxis are available readily and also one can easily walk to many restaurants and spas. The owner responds to emails very promptly and offers sound advise. We had the douria suite which allows for a 3rd person easily. It is on the first floor and entails about 20...

We stayed here 3 nights to explore Marrakech and relax. Great Riad with helpful staff to guide you in the right way. Our flight was in the late evening and the staff offered us the room till 17:00! Thanks Rachid for the wonderful stay in Morocco.

I have stayed at Dar Charkia numerous times and it is still the most beautiful, tranquil, gorgeous place to stay in Marrakech. The owners and staff are so helpful and well connected so it is definitely worth taking advantage of all the day trips on offer as you won't get a better deal or meet nicer people anywhere else. This...

We recently stayed at this gorgeous riad, a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the souks amid the bartering that goes on there day to day. To get to the riad, you must walk down a maze of little twisty streets, and once there, it is a gem of a place. Tastefully refurbished in exotic colours and ornaments....

We have been to Marrakech a few times and we can safely say that Dar Charkia is the best riad experience we have had. A top location in the heart of the Medina - but not too far into the labyrinth of streets - so it is still easy to find your way around. A beautifully decorated riad (a mix...

My partner and myself recently returned from a 5 night stay at the Dar Charkia Ria and were completely bowled over by the experience. I've have stayed at other Riad's near Marrakech but they are simply not in the same league as Dar Charkia. It's a hidden oasis, situated in the heart of the Medina and mere footsteps from the...

First, this Riad was recommended by a friend who has stayed with them numerous times. I booked directly with the owner who provided great information & was super friendly. The Riad is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. It is very clean and the staff are very attentive. We arranged transport from the airport with the Riad and a staff member met...

Breakfast and staff excellent but the overall appearance was a little shabby and it was very cold. The terrace is worth the visit and even to have a meal upon there. The location good for the souks and some restaurants

We stayed for 5 nights in the Sahara suite which was cozy and well decorated. Our trip was in December but the room was heated and comfortable. The shower in this room is also really cool! Breakfast in the morning was always lovely and prepared when we woke up. The courtyard was covered so it stayed warmer and dry even...

Having returned after spending two nights at Dar Charkia, I can honestly say it is a lovely riad with class and very nice touches making you feel like it is a home away from home. A bit quirky design but charming, bright and very clean. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with rain fail shower, all very beautiful. Breakfast was varied each...
