I have stayed at a few different mid priced raids in Marrakech, and Dar Zouar is absolutely head and shoulders above the rest. Easy communication before we came out, small friendly unobtrusive staff. The driver Dar Zouar retained for us for the airport transfer was helpful and competent. The breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were elegant and simple and extremely...

Great, great place. The people who run it are very competent and friendly. A great breakfast. Rooms are nicely decorated and naturally cool. The inner courtyard is gourgeous, and watching the sunset on the roof while enjoying a (smuggled) drink is unbeatable! The only draw back for us was: you will never find it the first time on your own....

We had a great stay at this riad. Its about 15 minutes walking from the main plaza, No so easy to find at first time but the owner sent a person to take us there from the main street, near from hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and spacius. The only bad thing...

Booked for 3 nights, loved every aspect of our stay. ROOM: Clean, daily cleaning also, air conditioning, wifi, fresh towels daily, hot water with good pressure, no hairdryer. The only downside is nonexistent soundproofing between the room, the bathroom and the rest of the house in general, but this is universal across all moroccan guest houses, so you'll just have...

Dar Zouar is located in the Bab Taghzout area of Marrakech; about a 10-15 minute walk to the medina. Tucked away (as most Riads) on a dead-end street, this stylish and hospitable Riad delivers its charm. From owner Thierry, to host Samad, your stay in Marrakech will be surely accommodated.

We stayed in the Riad Dar Zouar for 4 nights in may 2015. We had a good time in Marrakech, and this resulted for a great part from the beautiful riad and its friendly team. The riad: First of all, we can confirm most of the positive points made by other guests. The riad is indeed a calm oasis in...

A few days, before leaving home, we received an e-mail telling that a driver would be waiting for us at the airport. And indeed, there he was. And good that we did ask for a drive into town, since we would never have found the Riad. It can not be reached by car and so you must make a little...

My stay at Dar Zouar was really lovely. Thierry was a wonderful host and communication with him before and also during my stay was extremely good. He is a very helpful and gracious host. I must also comment on his staff particularly Sahmid (spelling?). He was always on hand for any queries and in general was a pleasant smiling face...
