    No it is very quiet once you are inside the Riad. It is actually pretty amazing-once you enter the Medina the sound from the plaza just disappears. I am a light sleeper as well and I never heard the call to prayer.

    Yes, and the toilet is in a cubicle with a door within the bathroom of our room.
