It is in the fascinating shrine of the Medina, sheltered from too much modernity, that you will find this welcoming house that was a traditional Marrakchi family mansion until 2006It took 2.560 trips by donkey drawn carriage to bring all the new materials needed to renovate the house and make a dream come true. But all our efforts have been rewarded and l'Heure d'Eté is now a lovely ryad proud to combine the discreet comfort of stylish modernity with the best of age-old Moroccan traditions. 13 rooms and a suite are distributed on three different levels around a glass-roof patio-lounge that can be opened at will to enjoy the best of the season.L'Heure d'Eté is located in the vicinity of Jemaa el Fnaa Square (3 minute walk) and will provide you with all the expertise and comfort you need to enjoy the unforgettable beauty of the red city.

This Riad was very nice they came and met us from the main street and walked us to the Riad as it is a little hard to find. The location is great right near the main square and Souks, also near where you can get taxis to other parts of the city. All the employees were very nice and the rooftop hot tub was very enjoyable. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. Overall, would recommend this Riad for a great stay.

We just came back from our first trip to Morocco. When in Marrakech we stayed in the Riad l´Heure d´Ete with wonderful staff making our journey both very comfortable and enjoyable. No matter what we needed their hospitality and service minded attitude was always their priority. The room was was very good and clean and we felt very secure in the Riad. A big thank you to everyone and we see you next time we are there.

Certainly to Repeat. All the staff made us feel really at home. They were all super nice. The Riad is extremely clean, cozy and comfortable. It has a very familiar ambiance. We felt welcome. The breakfast is super good as well. We had a great stay and I think that the better word to describe these days is “peaceful” which is what you look for when you are on vacation. The location is great because it’s a 2 minutes walk to the square.

Whilst quiet hard to find, it is very close to the square. The rooms are clean and tidy and as you would expect for a riad. Service was always good and always friendly, and breakfast was much much better than we expected Overall a very nice Riad. Thank you

Excellent service, awesome location in the old Medina. 5 minute walk to the market. Our host, Housni was very helpful. We had daily tea service on the rooftop patio. Breakfast was great, fresh squeezed juice, eggs, yogurt and bread. Get a massage while you're here, you can thank me later. Our last night we had dinner on the rooftop, which was delicious and a great way to end out time in Marrakesh

Stunning riad close to the heart of Marrakesh, modern but traditional in decor. Close to all attractions but quiet & secluded when inside. Service impeccable and staff friendly and helpful. Can’t be beaten.

We stayed here for 3 nights after Christmas and the Riad is lovely and clean. Our room was very small but we knew that when booking as there were only standard rooms available. Upon arrival Adil checked us in and explained everything thoroughly and took great care showing us points of interest on the map and more importantly how to actually get there! All of the staff were great and very accommodating, making dinner reservations for us and calling our tour company to confirm our excursion pick up early the next morning. The rooftop patio is a pretty area and we went up each evening for pre-dinner drinks whilst the sun set. We dined there on our first evening and the portions were HUGE! The Riad is in a fantastic location, only a few minutes walk from the crazy busy Jemaa el Fnaa market so it's lovely to come back after a day of souks and sights to the peaceful and tranquil Riad surroundings. Thanks to the all the great staff at L'Heure d'été!…

We staid there for in total 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot. It's located in the heart of the Medina but is a nice retreat from that hectic (still nice & absolutely recommendable part of the city). The team is nice & helpful. The rooms are quiet small but that's what you expect so no problem as they are comfortable. Ask a room on the first of second floor, they are quieter. I also enjoyed a Hammam by 'Hammam' just before I flew back and I recommend it.

This Riad is very welcoming for solo travellers. The room was clean and it was cleaned every day. The food was good, I had dinner on their rooftop terrace every night and it was very relaxing and pleasant. The staff was friendly and very opened to help. Even though I had booked my day trips previously to my arrival in Marrakesh, they didn't hold any grudge against me for not booking through them. The only thing I would say and it has nothing to do with the service of the hotel, but rather with its location: it is located next to the square but it is a bit hidden and you have to take some narrow streets. For a solo traveller, it can be a bit unsettling, especially with all the local men trying to approach you.

This was the first time me and my family and parents came to Marrakesh. The people at this Riad made us feel so welcome. They were very friendly and helpful and were very accommodating. The Riad was beautiful and the service was excellent and very clean. The owners were very helpful in organising days out for us. We had a late flight and they were ever so kind to let us keep our luggage in the Riad whilst we went out during the afternoon.
