I am speechless. Besides the riad itself, clean, cosy with every little detail perfectly sorted what it was stunnigly incredible was the kindness of the staff. Hassan and Ibrahim are kindness personified. Anything you need they are there to help way beyond what you would expect and really what they should do. You feel so warm and welcome that leaving... This is a very lovely riad in an excellent location - we were able to easily walk everywhere. Lucrezia and her staff were all very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The entire riad, including the guest rooms, is beautifully decorated. The room (for 3 adults) was a little small, but very comfortable with a spacious and well appointed bathroom. We... More

This was a memorable stay : the riad is centrally located yet is quiet, is beautifully decorated, has the benefit of a lovely rooftop terrace on which to relax and have delicious breakfasts and has extremely obliging staff. Taxi service from the airport is included in the price. The hotel is happy to book restaurants and to book excursions. We... More

We have stayed at Dar Attajmil a number of times. It never fails to disappoint. Firstly, the owner, Lucrezia, and all the staff are the best. They are friendly and helpful. Secondly, the decor is beautiful. The colours and ambience are stylish and warm. Thirdly - the food. Fatima makes a great breakfast and an even better dinner. We'll have... More

We stayed for one night at Riad Dar Attajmil, a beautiful small and stylish Riad with very friendly and efficient staff. Here we enjoyed the very best tagine dish on our trip in Morocco ”chicken with dried fruits” – absolutely delicious!

Firstly, it's incredibly difficult to choose accommodation in Marrakesh as everything looks breathtaking. If you're getting bogged down and just need to book something and this is within your price range, book a room at the Riad Dar Attajmil. Take one look at the photos and you understand that where you are about to stay is absolutely gorgeous. What photos... More

Beautiful and relaxing riad with a nice rooftop to have breakfast on. The staff was amazing, very helpful and they will make you feel very welcome. I have been returning to Dar Attajmil every year, sometimes twice for the last sixteen years. In all those years three of the staff have not changed, the backbone of Dar Attajmil, and I return always to a family welcome and a home in the very special medina of Marrakech. The traditional Dar is styled beautifully and has an elegant... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Charming Riad right in the heart of old Marrakech. 4 rooms only and a large garden terrace with hammam. Excellent location, central, safe and easy access. Cosy feel and special mentions for the way it's cared for and the surprising cuisine. Last, but not least, the excellent price for what it has to offer. The riad offers an interesting cooking experience with its chef, with shopping in the old food market of Bab Doukkala. ... more   less

“The room was gorgeous - the only criticism which I find hard to write because I don t want to say anything negative as it was overall a lovely stay, was that the beds for me were too hard, but that is a personal opinion.”

“All of the rooms are beautiful.. yet if I had to make a choice.. my favourite would have to be the 'Nomad' room.. only because it was the first room that I had sixteen years ago.”

“A fabulous riad overall - the staff are wonderful warm welcoming and helpful. My two tips are watch the added extras to your bill. Tthey are just not great and being totally transparent - I had no idea they added 3% for paying by card for example. The price for dinner did not include drinks either - which is fine if they tell you in advance, less so if they forget. My second tip is that if you need quiet ask for a room facing in to the courtyard. I overlooked the alley below which was surprisingly busy - it didn't stop me getting a wonderful nights sleep but for those who are lighter sleepers, a different room maybe better. Otherwise it's a fabulous place at a great location with the warmest staff.”
