We stayed at the Dar El Souk for 3 nights and our stay couldn't have been better. We had never stayed in a Riad before so didn't know what to expect. It is very different to a hotel but we enjoyed every moment of it. All the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout the stay. We had a Morrocan...

The Riad, Dar El Souk is tucked away about 8 to 10 mins stroll away from the main El Fna Square in Marrakech. We booked via "HIP MARRAKECH" who confrimed availabilty and the subsequent booking immediately. They also passed the details straiht to the owners of the Dar El Souk and they were in touch with details and the offer...

Our group had three rooms at the hotel and all were spacious, clean and individually decorated. The location was fantastic we really couldn't have asked for better. It was a short but very pleasant walk to the main square (especially if you want to do a bit of shoppping on the way). It was also very close to good resteraunts...

if you want to really experience Marrakesh you have to stay in a riad (guest house) in the Medina area, and I can't imagine a better location or better riad than Dar El Souk. It had all the charm of that area and all the comforts of a first class 5 star hotel! Maddy the owner was absolutely amazing and...

A lovely riad anout 5 minutes from the main square and souks. We were met at the airport and taken to the riad. Each room had an outside seating area. There was also a romantic roof terrace with subtle lighting and a sitting room with log fire for colder evenings. The breakfast was very good (the best we had while...

We would highly recommend this beautiful Riad, 5 mins walk from the Souk. It is safe, friendly and very well run, as well as being extremely charming. The English lady owner made sure that we made the most of our 3 night trip, recommending some wonderful places to eat, shop, visit, and be massaged. Perfect!

We had a brilliant stay - very clean, superb location, comfortable with efficient and friendly staff. Definately worth mentioning that the pre-booking assistance from HipMarrakech and Madeline (the Riad owner) was also first class. We had read just how helpful Madeline was in other reviews and can only confirm what everyone else has said - she really was very warm,...

Stayed in Dar el Souk for 6 nights with my wife and three other friends. From the moment we were met by Madeline (Proprieter) right up until we departed for the airport it was a fanatastic experience. We were given an overview of Marrakesh by Madeline on the first morning and told where to eat, drink, visitor attractions etc and...
