Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

BELIEVE ME AND DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR: DON’T GO TO THIS HOSTEL. It is the worst hostel I have ever stayed. The comments are all lies, just friends of the house. There is only one toilette per floor for more than 20 beds. The showers are shared between men and women so you do not have privacy, there is only a “curtain” that barely “covers” you from being seen and a man can be showering just next to you. You feel very unsafe in all the hostel, specially as a woman (even though I was with two men friends). I could not shower at all and we all left after the first night. The hostel is very dirty and the lobby floor has no windows nor fresh air and everybody smokes there so you cannot breathe very well. The staff is ok but they cannot solve such an uncomfortable situation. The terrace is nice. Breakfast is very poor, just bread, honey and butter with tea/coffee. For what you pay you can get lot of better options. I would have appreciated if sbdy had warned this to me in the comments, I hope it helps you and all the traveler community to avoid hostels cheating on us.

The Hostel is hidden in a narrow and mysterious street. Don't be afraid, keep walking and ring the bell. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Room in good conditions, breakfast included, toilet clean and amazing terrace on top of the building. Very recommended for the price-location-quality.

I liked staying here. Mohammed was a great host as well as Khalid, and Touria the housekeeper. The hostel got an amazing rooftop, it provides a nice view of the surroundings. The breakfast is included. I needed it early in the morning and I got it. The location is great, 5 min by foot from the famous square Jemma El Fna. All of the other main attractions are close from the hostel. I will come back for sure!

I ve been at this hostel for a short, 3 days trip to Morocco. The hostel is located in a nice, yet hidden, alley in Marrakech old town, close to the souk and to many typical local shops, selling spices, art crafts and other "out of the time" goods. The services offered are very basic, but I ve expected this, since the price per night is pretty low: you will sleep in a typical Ryadh, with porcelain tiles on the walls, and a terrace looking at Marrakech roofs. Showers are in common, WiFi is free and you can smoke and lounge in the main room at the entrance, the ground floor. Interesting was the breakfast included: typical small Moroccan flatbread served with a very good mint tea, honey, jam, butter and boiled eggs. The towels are free as well. A particular mention is for Jamal, the owner. He was very kind and, when I was desperately looking for a place where to print my boarding pass (Marrakech airport accepts only paper boarding passes) he printed it for me in a cafe nearby. If I will be back in Morocco (as I hope, 3 days are too short) I will remember about this place

Probably the worse hostel I’ve stayed in my whole life. First of all it’s dirty, pillows are incredibly dirty and looks like a stone, no bedsheets, the mattress seems like a pack of sand, the day after we were leaving at 07:30, they told us the breakfast started at 07:00, but we could be there at 06:45am, we arrived at 06:40, and waited until 07:35am and left without having breakfast, showers are a shame, horrible! They can smoke in the big room in the reception, so they smoke every kind of cigarettes there, the guys are actually kind with us, and the price is very low, but we’ve travelled all over the world and stayed in amazing hostels paying even less than here. Wouldn’t stay again.

We had a good stay and liked how close this hostel was to all the action. We greatly appreciated Yassine who helped us with getting to our airport transfer service and tracking down our driver. The hostel is lucky to have Yassine!

Awesome Hostel!!! We stayed 4 nights and everything was perfect. Really good price with nice breakfast included. The staff is super friendly all the time and gives you recommendations for everything. Mourad, the hostel keeper is just the best! (xoxo, will miss you). Also free morrocan tea as much as you want. Its more of a youth Hostel but fits for all ages. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Thank you so much for everything kifkif. I can definitely recommend it!

The hostel itself is nice and very cozy. It offers a super chill vibe and great character. Very good value for money also. However, it was the staff that made our stay wonderful. The place is run by a really lovely group of people. Mohamed was amazing! Seriously such a genuine, warm, kindhearted person and hilarious! I have never met anyone so nice. He made us feel right at home and would not let us lift a finger ever. Best mint tea too! The place is in a really convenient location also, 5 second walk to the markets and a shisha bar! We loved the staff so much even when we booked elsewhere we still came back to visit our new friends. Would recommend this place 100 times over! Will be back xxx
