My husband and I stayed at the Dar Les Cigognes for 3 nights over the Easter Holiday. Before finally booking this room I had researched so many different riads in Marrakech, and I was so happy we chose Dar Les Cigognes. From the moment we got there we had a warm welcome from Hayat, and she instantly made us feel...

We studied many options before choosing "Les Cycognes". Despite high expectations, we have not been disappointed. This is a beautiful classy boutique hotel which, while keeping its historic flavor, was enhanced by the good hands of a well known modern designer. Fully suitable for a romantic or quiet escape. Not suitable however for kids as by definition, a Riad is...

Having loved every minute of our stay at Dar Les Cigognes for our honeymoon 10 years ago, we were keen to return for our anniversary. Our second stay was even more amazing, mostly due to the especially friendly, warm welcome and excellent service throughout our entire stay offered by Hayat and Hajiba and the rest of the staff. We loved...

This was the best, warm welcoming and professional reception at a hotel that we have every had. (and we have been to MANY hotels worldwide). Ms Hayet is very professional and manages the hotel at a very high level. The riad is very beautiful and luxurious, From a guest point of view, it's important to know the difference between a...

We arrived today and what a reception-it was warm, friendly, helpful, and made us really feel at home. I cannot praise our first day at dar les cigognes highly enough. We had a choice of rooms and the rooms are themed- we're in the Sahara dessert and what a lovely cosy room it is. We arrived back from exploring the...

We stayed her for Valentines day and our 44th anniversary trip. Unfortunately my wife became ill during the trip. They could not have done more. The cooking class and walking tour with Pierre was great and so was Hayat at the front desk. The rooms were great. Truly Moroccan. The Riad only has 11 rooms and has an exceptional restaurant....

When we arrived to the Riad and sat down in the tiled courtyard with a fountain in the middle to sip some thé à la menthe, it seemed like we've arrived to paradise. The Riad is beautiful, with high vaulted ceilings, abundant tiling and woodwork around. Our bedroom was lovely, soft cotton bedlinen, spacious tadelakt bathroom, creams and shampoos provided...

I stayed here nearly a year ago with my 20 year old daughter. We chose to split our Marrakech stay between two hotels as we weren't sure which to choose but should have stayed here the whole time. It was wonderful. From the pre booking enquiries which were dealt with quickly and efficiently, through the warm and helpful welcome when...

One of the best experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to stay at this charming Riad and to have Foozjs as my full time cooking instructor for two weeks. The cooking classes coordinated by Pierre the hotel manager were outstanding. I was first greeted by Hiyat who was charming. She welcomed me with mint tea and Moroccan cookies...

We stayed 3 nights in September 2016. And though I was at first disappointed that we were in a lower room (and so, would get less light), the decor and furnishing of the room was so rich and luxurious; and the space so comforting (the lack of light actually helped), I no longer minded. This may allay any perceived disadvantage...
