The Riad is exactly as pictured and described online, with a peaceful central courtyard where breakfast is served and comfortable rooms. The location is fantastic, as other reviewers have said-- well-location for walking to virtually anywhere in Marrakech, and surrounded by interesting street markets and attractions. Gilles and Dominique are wonderful hosts: helpful, welcoming, and friendly. All in all, a...

We adored our stay with Dominique & Gilles and would highly recommend the Riad to any of our friends visiting Marrakech! Dominique and Fatiha stayed up until 2am to greet us when our flight landed late. We stayed for 5 nights and got a free ride from and to the airport. The Riad was a lovely home-base and felt like...

Perfect Riad accommodation - full of character, hosts could not be more helpful in all areas. Arranged for us to be met at the airport, and also train tickets when we left for Tanger, a very good guide to show us around. Supplied much advice, map etc, excellent breakfast and dinner. They are a very warm and welcoming couple and...

Very hospitable owners, arranged for us to be met airport, and a very professional guide who explained so many interesting locations and history. Location good enough for us to get to Medina and shopping, Breakfast included and dinner available if desired. Riad Abaca Badra is truly a gem in the western part of the Medina of Marrakech. Tucked away in a side street near Bab Doukkala, French expats Gilles and Dominique have remodeled a traditional Riad, complete with indoor water feature and garden for a genuine Marrakechi experience with a dash of French hospitality. This beautiful Riad and its welcoming staff...

We stayed here last week for the few nights we had in Marrakesh before our return trip back to the States. The location is ideal - very close to the main square and walking / cheap cab fare distance to all the main attractions. The riad is very nicely done, homey, comfortable. The rooms are fantastic, spacious, comfy beds and...

We spent 3 nights at this wonderful Riad. Upon booking we were sent an email with a map detailing how to get to the riad as we were making our own way there. This made it very easy to find. Then from the moment we set foot in the door we were made to feel very welcome and extremely at...

Riad abaca badra is a very very very nice place to stay for a couple of days. The owners are really nice and helpful. They are willing to help you with directions or even to help with negotiations when you want to buy something. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is big. We had dinner for one (the first)...

We have spent five nights in Dominique and Gilles' very nice Riad in the middle af the Medina only five minutes from the Souk. It was a pleasant stay with an excellent service and with a big breakfast and a very tasty local dinner at night. Even beer and wine is served at the Riad. We got a lot of...
