We went there end of the year and the hotel was so incredibly cold - not only the room but also the public areas - that we had to flee it after the first night. The furniture is extremly shabby and the breakfast poor. They sold it as 5-star hotel but it is far from that. Perhaps it had been...

Worn out, they don't heat their pool as they mention on their website, the spa is empty and you have to warn them 4 hours ahead of time to turn on the steam room, pillows are all stained and used, broken flower pots outside of rooms, dirty ashtray in room upon arrival, almost no service, they don't turn on lights...

Three and half stars. We had a lovely stay here, very relaxing. The amazingly helpful staff make this place worth a visit. The rooms are nice, with amazingly comfortable beds. Breakfast was okay but service was painfully slow. The food generally was of good quality and the manager organised different menus for us upon request. The spa is very poor,...

This hotel was simply beautiful. The staff were lovely, helpful and accommodating. We had a fabulous time. The food in the hotel was really good, especially their traditional dishes. Tried pretty much everything and loved it all. Our rooms were gorgeous, when we arrived they were strewn with rose petals and candles. It was simply stunning. There was local wine...

This is a beautiful hotel in the middle of nowhere!! When we went we were the only people in the hotel. It was dead and it was July!! Breakfast was poor - they didn't understand what we were saying so all we got was bread, orange juice and mint tea. The rooms were very beautiful and styled elegantly. Booked some...

We stayed here for three days. There were not many people staying in the hotel so it was generally fairly quiet. Check-in was clumsy at best. We arrived early and knew we wouldn't be able to check in right away, so we sat down for some lunch. The check-in time came and went, so we asked the front desk who...

On arrival we were very impressed by the hotel and our room. The decor was elegant, our room was spacious and the pool area was very stylish with huge sun beds to lie on. The atmosphere however was seriously lacking. It appeared to be short of both guests and staff, so you were often left waiting at the reception desk...

Had a fantastic stay at Palais de l'O. We stayed for four days in April with our three children aged 10,8 and 5 and as a result of a cancellation we got upgraded to the Royal suite - it was very special. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. The breakfasts were fabulous - enough to keep...

We booked very last minute for our honeymoon and were really lucky to find such a beautiful secluded and peaceful retreat in Marrakech! The service was 5* the food was Devine, breakfast was fantastic and our room was larger than our apartment in London! We didn't think we could afford to stay in a hotel like this but would recommend...

The McTravel clan booked the whole place for a week, a big family get-together of 13 people including three under-fives. Palais de l'O was spot on - relaxed, friendly, not 'precious' and super-comfortable. The team there managed golf bookings, kasbah trips, Atlas walks as required. Good spa / hamman on site. And very good food. We'd read that the menu...
