The hostel staff is not very friendly and inattentive. The beds are small, and since the rooms are connected to common areas, it tends to get loud. The entire place smells like smoke, so beware if you are sensitive to the smell. As another reviewer mentioned, the bathrooms are dirty and always wet from the shower. You can find other...

We stayed in Hostel Waka Waka for four nights and are so happy we chose this hostel. The hostel has loads of character and is a throughly enjoyable place to chill while you are exploring Marrakech. Abdelhamid and Nabil are excellent, funny entertaining, respectful hosts and are so helpful. Breakfast is always included. Definitely recommended.

I can only recommend this nice hostel where me and one of my friend spent 3 times 1-1 night. It has a cool atmosphere, the rooms and the bathroom are clean. At the last time they hadn't got any vacant bed but we could have slept on a couch for 4€ on the teracce .

This is an awesome little hostel. I've hosteled all over the world, and really, this little place is tops. The guys who run this place are so kind and attentive; they make the place a little refuge of home in crazy Marrakech. The place is comfortable, with lots of chill space, beautiful homey Moroccan decoration in a riad/courtyard-style place. They...

Stayed a total of 4 nights in Waka Waka, and loved every minute! Beds were comfy and facilities were good, with towels given if you needed. Abdul was an incredible host, helping us with whatever we required! Would highly recommend- hostel has great social vibe and amazing rooftop area.

My friends and I stayed here for two nights and they were the worst two nights we have ever had. We've stayed in dozens of hostels across the world and this one is by far the worst. My friend got bit by bed bugs the first night and requested to switch rooms. Other people in the hostel were also bitten....

A great place to stay if travelling to Marrakech on a budget and looking for somewhere reasonably lively. Really sociable and the hostel layout makes it easy to mix with other backpackers. Service here is great and the guys who look after the hostel couldn't be more welcoming. Big shout out to Abdul, the friendliest guy and so helpful. Location...

Waka waka is a wonderful riad hostel in Marrakech. Very cool place, with fair price and amazing staff. The rooftop is big and spacious. We spent a good time there enjoying the sun and the conversations with guests from all around the world. The price is very fair and the breakfast is amazing. I watched in there the best magic...
