We were very pleased with this Riad and would recommend them. In a hectic medina, this place was a true oasis. All the staff are local and are completely welcoming, yet keep a respectful distance when appropriate. All extremely helpful and enthusiastic. The architecture of the renovated riad is beautiful. The food was great, so we ate here every night....

What a marvelous place to start and end our trip. The riad is a beautiful place to spend a few days and the staff are some of the nicest, most helpful and friendly people I have met anywhere. We got the airport pick up and it was an easy, smooth, hassle free experience that I would highly recommend if you...

Very warm and friendly staff. Great dinner on a terrace facing the royal gardens. Our bed was strewn with rose petals. Beautiful courtyard. Red chiffon curtains and beautiful carved wood and plasterwork on the ceiling. Great location.

From the huge delicious breakfast in the morning, until our heads hit the pillow, the staff did everything they possibly could for us. They didnt even seem like staff, more extremely helpful friends! Food was fantastic, bedrooms were beautiful and spotless. The entire Riad was incredibly beautiful. The pictures dont do it justice, and we even had breakfast on the...

Very well located, in a quiet street and very close to the market, this Riad is a nice, clean and comfortable place. The meals are very nice, served at the terrace, with very tasty tradicional morrocan dishes.(And you may learn how to cook. They offer nice cooking classes!) But most of all, hospitality of the staff is incredible (thanks, Abdel!)....

Last 3 nights we spend at Riad Princesse du Desert...This Riada is small miracle - very pretty, comfortable, rooms clean, brekfest and diner perfect. The location just 5-7min from square. Staff - specially Abdel - making you feel like home, your honest, responsible, hospitality and...

My fiance and I stayed at this cosy riad for a week in January 2015. It had a good location close to the souqs (markets) and only 5 min from the big square Djema el-fna. The room and the rest of the riad was beautiful and the meal we had here first night was delicious. The staff was fantastic and...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The Riad was beautiful and the staff were absolutely fantastic. After our busy 2 week tour of Morocco, walking into Riad Samira, Princess du desert, was a very welcome experience. We were greeted with mint tea and very friendly staff. The rooms were delightfully decorated, very clean and very comfortable. After experiencing a very ordinary meal in the square on our first evening in Marrakech, we decided to eat in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Princesse du Desert Nothing is too good for her. Equidistant from the " Jemaa El Fna " and " Door Dar El Bacha " , the location of Riad Princesse du Desert is exceptional especially since it offers beautiful calm and tranquility. Nestled in the Medina, the small alley that leads to the riad is a wonder with warm colors that contrast with the blue sky and vegetation that is rare in the Medina which can give the feeling of a Provence in Marrakech. Additionally beautiful decoration, attention to detail , arches , columns and moucharabiehs , lace white stucco ceilings, zellij ( tiled ) walls and featuring an alchemy of colors and smells with refined bath products (jasmine and amber ) make this a wonderful place to be . Additionally, not forgetting comfort alongside the beauty, each of the 6 rooms feature air conditioning, soft bedding and luxury linens. Breakfast is included in the price and we offer complimentary Moroccan mint tea and coffee with homemade cookies at all times. ... more   less
