We have just returned from a 5 night stay at this fantastic riad. First let me say that my wife and I have travelled extensively around Asia, Europe, Australia and America. This is the first place that we have reviewed as they were simply fantastic. We arrived early on the first day and were settled into our room after a...

We loved this place...it was in a great location with an easy walk to anything you could want to see. Once we arrived here, we were immediately welcomed by the staff with fresh tea and cookies. They gave us about 10 minutes to enjoy our tea and unwind and they came back over to discuss our trip with us. They...

The ladies who run the place make it a great place to stay. The helpfully offered advice on what to see and where to eat and made us feel at home. The place was pretty and comfortable and is well situated. On the down side, like everywhere else we stayed in Morocco, they developed problems with their card machine and...

We have just celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary and stayed here for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived (early because our flight was 06:25 from Gatwick) we knew we were going to have a good time. We arranged transfers with the Riad. We had an email clearly stating where the driver would be and where to change money. It...

We stayed at riad anjar for 5 nights whilst on honeymoon. It is located an easy 3 minute walk to the central medina but at the same feels secure and calm. The room was beautiful, staff friendly and helpful, organising day trips, transfers and hamman. We would definitely recommend visiting if you are staying in marrakech.

Beautifully redeveloped Riad with still the warmth of the ancient times and a touch of Italian hospitality and attention to details. Ask Emanuela - the lovely host - what to do in Marrakech, where to take your hammam, where to go for a walk and, in general, how to enjoy the city: she has the perfect tips! And if you...

We stayed at the riad 4 nights. very nice location. close enough from the main square, but far enough from noise, etc. excellent decoration, where every detail counts. warm welcome confortable for a family. kind of preparing us a early breakfast there are only 5 rooms. we were occupying 2, which makes it frendly with other guests, etc

This little hotel was absolutely lovely. The hosts were so caring and helpful, and ensured that our whole trip to Morocco was the best it could be. The riad is entered through a small door, down a quiet alleyway, and is the most relaxing and calm place I have ever been to - so unexpected after the hustle and bustle...

Riad Anjar is an oasis in the heart of the medina of Marrakech. A perfect place from where you can discover the Souk and all the squares and traditional Medina places. Riad Anjar Is located close to the big square, cafe Bougainvile, cafe Arabe and cafe des Epices. The owner and heart of this beautifull Riad is Emanuela, an Italien...

In the heart of the chaotic medina, a true paradise of peace and quiet. All rooms are furnished in moroccan style with soft colors and a touch of modern architecture. High level reception from Emanuela and her moroccan staff. The dinner at the Riad is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended. Thanks to Nazha, Fatima and Khadija... we'll come back soon.

“One of the rooms is above the small kitchen/dining area (where you eat if you need breakfast early for some reason), and this could disturb you in the morning (although the staff are very good at making sure the breakfast guests eat quietly). So if you are planning on sleeping in late into the morning, ask for one of the other rooms.”
