We were here for two days, but wished it was longer! The accomodation is really nice and clean and on a great spot in Marrakech (walking distance of 'Souks' and the famous square). Breakfast was also very nice! Nouradine really makes sure you feel welcome! Don't hesitate, just book your nights in this Riad!

Having stayed in Fes, Rabat and Marrakech we found Noureddine's kind and helpful disposition to be a true welcome in a chaotic city. The Riad is beautifully appointed and both he and Sara did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Starting with the mint tea on arrival to the delicious and plentiful breakfast the attention to detail was...

We spent only one night here but we had a fantastic experience, made perfect by Noureddine's incredible hospitality and warmth. He told us about all the places to go during our limited time in Marrakech, and was even so incredibly kind as to come find us when we got lost in the Medina during a torrential downpour. He negotiated taxi...

We spent 3 night in this lovely Riad. You get all the perks one would expect of a modern accommodation in an historic city -Charm, Lovely bed, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated rooms and ensuite . But what is striking is the care, attention and love you get from the hosts. Nourredine and Sara are amazing people. Being a fairly well...

We stayed in early January towards the end of our 2 weeks in Morocco. This place is an oasis in the middle of a rough city. If only the street vendors and locals exhibited a fraction of the hospitality of Noureddine and Sarah, our experience in Marrakech would have been different. Dinner is a must. Great quality and awesome taste....

Stunning, amazing, beautiful. These are just a few words to describe our stay at Dar Nour El Houda. As soon as we stepped in, there was an air of peacefulness and tranquillity from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Marrakech. We had a spacious downstairs room which was well presented and clean, exactly what we were looking for....

Wonderful place, would go here every time I come to Marrakesh. You feel at home and the service is perfect. The place to be in Marrakesh. Lovely terrace as well. The breakfast was great and the price is cheap for what you get.

Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable beds, wonderful breakfasts, peaceful and quiet, great location, sustainable approach, excellent value for money but the real star of the show here is Noureddine. When we started our search for a comfortable, affordable Riad well located in the medina we were overwhelmed by the hundreds of choices and while many looked just as amazing...

Easily the best place I have ever stayed. The riad is clean and beautiful, rooms superb, terrace and courtyard relaxing and sunny. The location is convenient for sightseeing by foot (20 mins to Jemaa El Fnaa) or a short walk to taxis. I'd recommend the hotel taxi service to make life easy for airport transfers. What makes this accommodation so...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dar Nour El Houda is a chic and unique boutique Riad in the heart of the Madina of Marrakech. It is the former home of French contemporary artist Patrick Carpentier and is now owned by a group of British friends who fell in love with the place. The Riad is interior decorated to a high standard in cream and white. It enjoys an open courtyard with a large Olive tree and a plunge pool as well as a terrace with views to the Katoubia and the Atlas Mountains. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms have their own unique character and the entire property is decorated with Patrick's beautiful artworks. The Riad is located in the centre of the Madina, close to star attractions such as Ben Youssef Mosque and Madresa (5 mins walk), the Marrakech Museum (5 mins walk) and the Photography Museum (4 mins walk). Jemaa-El-Fna is an approximate 12-15 minute walk away and a map is provided to guide you. Taxis from the airport stop at Place Moukef (Kaat Benahid), a 4 minute walk away. Famous restaurants such as Le Fondouk, Dar Tazi and Restaurant Naima are all approximately 5 minutes walk away, but in our opinion the best meal is served within Dar Nour El Houda itself with a fantastic 3-course meal cooked by one of your hosts, Asia. Together with our Manager, Noureddine, you will be treated to attentive service where every guest is looked after with the utmost care. ... more   less
