We have visited Marrakech a few times, and knew we needed to find a perfect get away spot from the hustle & bustle. After a little research, we found the Manzil la Tortue, and so glad we did. Booking with a simple phone call, and then drive from the Medina was just 20 minutes. We were warmly greeted and shown...

We fancied an escape from the noise and bustle of Marrakesh and found this delightful spot. Swam in beautiful pool, lounged on comfortable loungers, attentive, friendly staff. Lunch was excellent. I had the lotte which was perfectly cooked and presented. Had to have the banoffee pie! Excellent. Coffee by the pool to round off a perfect few hours of peace...

We were a group of 4 ladies who stayed for 2 nights at Manzil la Tortue. We had read reviews and it sounded just what we needed after 2 nights already in the Centre of Marrakech. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendly host and shown to our fabulous tent. It was accommodation for all 4 of us which...

We arrived as a family and everyone really enjoyed this guesthouse. The only slight issue is that it's quite far out and so the first day we had dinner in the hotel, this was really tasty and they had catered well for the vegetarians in our party who actually said this dinner was probably the tastiest they had the whole...

We camped at this resort for three days in early January, 2017 and it was one of the most luxurious, lovely campgrounds and resorts I’ve seen in my entire 40+ years as a traveler and camper. Even the photos on its own website do not do it justice. Every detail—from the gardens to the pool to the bathrooms to the...

You stay here because of the pool. Its stunning! Pure and simple. The grounds around the pool are also lovely; bed-loungers with shade and large open tents with couches. All very well done. Other nice touches were a small crazy golf area, a lovely cactus garden and boules. We stayed in a 4-person tent which was done very nicely, but had...

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights over half term in a family tent (1 double, 2 single beds). I found the property on Booking.com, but had also been recommended it for pool days the previous year, by a riad owner I stayed with in the Medina. The reviews were all good, so I had no qualms about...

We booked one of the luxury tented rooms with sunken bath. Was really beautiful and a romantic getaway for some sunshine in peaceful grounds with a lovely pool and friendly attentive staff. This hotel is however rural Morocco and a good twenty minutes or so cab journey from Marrakesh so if your looking for hustle and bustle it would not...

I came here sat to relax by the pool and have lunch . The pool and gardens are beautiful and plenty of beds very well sheltered with olive trees . The lunch for 190 DHS was indeed the best lunch I've had in Marrakech . The food was worthy of a top restaurant . The service was great and we...

This is a review of the 'Pool Day' NOT a review of their tented rooms. This was a great discovery. There we were steaming hot, tired from avoiding dismembered goats and aggressive soukh traders and, as one, we said "We must have a day by a pool". So we consulted the marvellous 'Marocmama' site and there were two obvious alternatives....
