We stayed in this riad for a couple of days. The rooms are beautiful, it's clean and the riad has a nice rooftop. The hostes speaks english very well and is really helpful. Breakfast changes every day and is nice too! A great place to stay, within a few minutes of the djemnaa el-fna. Highly recommended!

My partner and i stayed at Riad Basma in early May for a week and it couldn't have been a better choice. We were picked up at the airport by arrangement with our hosts and brought right to the door. The riad is so close to Djamaa al Fna but you would never know it as it was so quiet and...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for five nights and we were more than impressed. When we arrived we were put into a lovely room but we were then offered a larger room free of charge which was just as lovely. The entire riad is decorated to perfection; from the sinks to the artwork to the roof terrace, everything is...

Not recommended, here is the list why. The place itself is a lovely, ethnic-style riad with a lot of colours and ornaments which make it a cozy place to stay - and the only accomodation in Morocco where I found a hairdryer in the room. Unfortunately almost everything else was under the level we expected. Breakfast tends to be very...

Relative comparison with the other guest houses that we have stayed in during our trip to Morocco clearly place this one at the rear. Nice, confortable, and well decorated place, but with several disappointing details. Our street-facing room was too noisy during the night, we had to put cushions on the window for sleeping. Breakfast was the most disapointing point,...

Just a short walk along an alleyway, off one of the main thoroughfares to Jemaà El Fna, lies the peace and calm of Riad Basma. My room on the first floor was traditionally decorated, with some lovely tiling and wonderful artworks. (In fact there are many beautiful oil paintings hanging throughout the riad.) It was extremely comfortable and very clean....

My wife, son (14) and I arrived in Marrakesh from Essaouira on Dec. 30 at 6 PM. Place Jemma el Fna was in full swing, so the taxi driver dropped us off outside the square and a boy guided us on a busy 15 minute walk through the crowd as we pulled our bags, eventually down Derb Debachi, and down...

It was just excellent--no problems. The review thing thinks I should say more, but that's all I have to say. Why must it take more than two hundred characters to say that it is good? We particularly liked the house bunting

Riad Basma is a small, quiet, clean and welcoming guesthouse only a short walk from the central square. The owner, Khadisha, did all in her power to make our stay a pleasant one, and I recommend the hotel without hesitation to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in a city that can become overwhelming.

This riad is very charming, with lovely hosts! They give really good advice for you stay in Marrakech. Absolutely fair price and a perfect location direct in the medina. You only need some help to find it, coming there the first time. Thanks!
