This road is located inside the medina. Nabil arranged a pickup at the airport, served us tea on our arrival and provided a map and tips on how to negotiate the souks and suggested good places to visit. Would stay again.

We stayed here for four weeks. The location was good, central to most things. The rooms were very clean, air-conditioned and the bed was very comfortable. The furnishings were simple, but more than adequate and it was easy to seep in as the window shutters almost totally blocked out the light when closed at night. All linen was provided. The...

Considering the price this is an excellent budget choice. Its within the medina so is a good central point to explore but once within the riad there is peace and quiet. The morrocan owners are very helpful and speak good English. They can offer advise on restaurants trips shopping direction and safety. They even let me print my flight info. You'll...

We stayed at Dar al Hamra from the 15th until the 19th of April (Wednesday to Sunday). We were a group of 4 friends. We booked 2 double bedrooms and the experience was just great. A car picked us up from the airport as agreed with Nabil (our contact person from the Rihad). We arrived pretty late (around 11pm), filled...

We stayed in Riad Dar Al Hamra for a week in the beginning of februari. The AC had a heating mode so we were not cold at night although it was cold outside. The riad is situated inside the Medina but it's very quiet in the little alley, at walking distance from Jemaa el-Fnaa. The mosque nearby, Bab Doukala Mosque,...

We stayed at this riad for four nights in total. We made two bookings for two rooms and two nights before and after going on a desert tour. The staff were warm and welcoming and the first two nights were great as we were the only people in the entire riad. However, when we returned from our tour for our...

A very clean place! Internet worked (slow but worked). Breakfast was ok, too bad it didnt include eggs as starting day 2 it becomes boaring. Price was ok for what you get. Be advised however that they (Mohamed) will ask you to pay an extra tax as you leave, something we were not aware of, as the price that was...

I have thoroughly enjoyed staying at Dar Al Hamra with my Husband for 10 days. The owner Mr. Moulay El Alaoui was very welcoming and made us feel right at home and the staff at the Riad could not do enough for us, specially the girls Fatima and Hajiba who were both fantastic at serving us a tasty breakfast every...

We stayed here with four other friends. It was a couples trip. We loved Dar Al Hamra and the location. We were able to walk to jemaa el fna. Taxis were cheap and made it easy to get out of the medina and into the more modern parts of Marrakesh like Gueliz and the casino. The girls loved all the...
