Pros: The riad is beautiful and very tastefully decorated, large rooms. The rooftop is amazing. The location is good, unless you want to spend the entire days in the souks - the walk of 20min can be very annoying due to 10000 mopeds that "walk" with you. Kind staff. Good breakfast. Cons: We stayed in the room on the ground...

I think roads are best as a private house with about 6 suites, widely spaced, where you can dine on the roof terrace and be looked after by very personal and attentive staff. This is small enough, rigorously well finished by foreign owners aiming to create the authentic sense of customs updated but strongly respected, and had such lovely people...

I booked the whole riad for ten of my family and friends for my birthday weekend. As soon as we arrived we couldn't believe the beautiful haven we had entered! Mohammed, who looked after us while we were there, was fantastic. Nothing seemed too much to ask and there was always a smile on his face. Sadik the manager was...

I suggest everyone to book in this fantastic place ! Rooms are lovely and clean. Our host Mohammed was always there for us , he guided us to a fantastic restaurant and organized superb meals ( even one last minute .) Breakfast and aperitif are served on the terraces upstairs . I had a great experience here. It exceeded my expectations and I found myself wanting to hang out at the Riad more than wondering the Medina alleys. Lovely staff and setting. The best dinners I had in Marrakech were at the Riad. Tip: I opted to do a hammam at Les Bains de Marrakech but wish I had just done...

Having spent five nights at the sister riad, Azzouna 13, I left Marrakech for the beach and promptly decided I wanted to return. Sadik, who manages both, confirmed availability at Zaouia 44 within minutes and I was on my way back. I cannot praise Zaouia (or Azzouna) highly enough. The most incredible staff, delicious food, peaceful rooms and fantastic rooftop...

Zaouia 44 is a smaller riad located in the northern, less touristy part of the medina. The furnishings are minimal, the design is clean. These attributes alone set it apart from most of the other riads in Marrakech, but what truly sets Zaouia 44 apart from the rest is the staff, as other reviewers have mentioned. Sadik, Mohammed, Miriam and...

To and true, to follow suit with other guests past, they live and truly exceeded their reputation. Having this been my first visit to Marrakech, they helped to make it the best experience, each and every day. Sadik and Mohammed helped to plan each day of our visit as well as well as help us maneuver our way back to...

There is so much to say about this stay.Riad Zaouia is a bit hard to locate we could never get back without help or a taxi.also its behind the souks and a bit scary to walk to at night.but the riad itself is an oasis after the chaos of the souks.clean and beautiful we enjoyed our time in the medina.Mohamed...

First, Mohammed the Manager/Concierge/Local expert is the best 100%. He tends to any and all needs you may have, whether it's a million questions or a bottle of wine (he actually ran down the block to fetch us Coca Cola and was back before we knew he had left). He makes an excellent friend, sitting down and chatting about Morocco...
