This riad is fantastic. Mehjoub was a wonderful host to us. The airport transit he offered was smooth and on time. We got to meet his brother and son which was really nice. The staff at the riad, Adil and Amell, are wonderful people. Though we had a slight language barrier with them they still ensured that our needs were... More

For the price this is exactly what we expected. The location was awesome. Breakfast was very traditional. Yes it is boiled eggs, bread, local jam and butter, orange juice and the milk is ultra high temperature pasteurised, not rancid. They were very accommodating in providing us an alternative to coffee. We had warm milk instead. We paid for two dinners... More

Worse place ever, smelled strong odor, bathroom walls were moldy, asked for twin beds, there was a double bed and a cot that sloped. We had booked for 3 nights but my daughter could not handle the smell so I told the owner we were only going to stay one night and even tho it was free cancellation, he insisted... More

We stayed at this Riad for 6 nights and found that the staff was extremely helpful when it came to arranging anything from travel to cooking no matter the time. Our room was spacious and had a large bathroom. The positioning of this Riad is great it is placed in between the old medina and the new city nouvelle. You... More

Genuinely confused why there are so many positive reviews for this riad. We were really hopeful going into Riad Lakhdar, as the photos look lovely, the location is good, and it is quite spacious. The staff were also well meaning but that is about as far as the positives go. Very poor communication beforehand, which led to us having to... More

Stayed three nights at the riad and it really gave my trip to Marrakech an extra touch. It's only a five minutes walk to the main square Jemaa el-Fna and walking distance to most parts of the city. The rooms are lovely, aswell as the patio and roof-terrace. The staff were very friendly and offered us some menta-tea after the... More

This riad is in a quiet place and just 5 min walk from the main square. It was a really good choice for someone who appreciates the silence. The two girls in charge of the restaurant made the best of our trip, really nice and awesome cooking. The manager proposes excursions to leave the city, which was necessary in my... More

Everything about our stay was comfortable at the Riad Lakhdar. The host and staff were very accommodating to every one of our needs, for example as late sleepers we never missed breakfast as the staff made us fresh breakfast when we woke up even at 1pm! Marrakech is very busy and can be very overwhelming, but the location of this... More

We went to Marrakech 2 moths ago and we had the loveliest time at Riad Lakhdar. The location is near to the main square and the place is affordable for an amazingly decorated place. The staff are friendly, the service is also very good and we felt very welcomed. We really enjoyed our stay and had truly amazing Moroccon hospitality... More

The Riad is very beautiful and well decored! This is very clean (thanks to the lady of the house: Ilham) but more than the image, there is the human aspect: Mahjoub is an amazing host! The staff is really careful, helpful and smily! They speak english and french (and maybe more ...) Trust me you will fall in love with... More
