This is the second time we've stayed with Tizwa - the first in Marrakesh. at the time that seemed idylic - a fresh fruit salad , yoghurt, and wonderful pastries with good coffee and tea on the terrace with the view of birds flying around a blue sky and the sounds of the medina as the prefect background. then this...

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Tizwa. It is ideally positioned on the edge of the Medina, within easy reach of bars, taxis etc. Everything-from the moment we were met at the door on arrival, was first class. The bedroom was very big, and a pleasure to relax in during the afternoons, when we wanted to get out of...

Fes is very very special. This riad is so so pretty and really has a great feeling. We were greeted at the train staion by a lovely driver from the riad and he took us to the hotel. Lots of tea and candles greeted us and this riad is more traditional than the tizwa in Marrakesh. You feel like you...

Maybe I am just a 'grumpy old woman', but I was expecting magic and it wasn't really forthcoming. Having chosen it as a result of all the amazing reviews, I thought it sounded ideal as an introduction to a 'different' way of life for my husband, 18 year old daughter and her friend ( who would feel more at home...

We were pointed to this riad by this website and it did not disappoint. When we arrived in Fes, they arranged to have their driver pick us up at the train station and bring us to the hotel. When we arrived, we found lighted floor candles, a bottle of wine, a bottle of water, and fresh fruits and figs on...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Riad Tizwa for 3 nights and I would urge anyone looking to stay in Fes to contact Daniel or Richard and stay here. The riad itself is stunning a large peaceful central courtyard leads off to the nine hidden rooms, found on hidden staircases that seem to perfectly encapsulate the winding medina of Fes....

We spent 3 nights here and had a great time. The staff is very attentive, Merrieme, the hotel manager, spoke English and arranged a guide for us which worked out well. Breakfast was served promptly and was delicious! The rooms were large and beautiful. We stayed in room 2 which overlooked the courtyard and had beautiful stained glass windows. Yes...
