Dar Seffarine is a beautiful guest house (a restored 600 yr. old mansion) right in the medina, down narrow, covered streets. It has about seven guest rooms, some of them suites, beautifully decorated Moroccan style (colorful tiles, intricately painted wood), and reasonably priced. There are two lovely dining rooms, a roof terrace, and common rooms off the central courtyard. One...

The Seffarine is a remarkably beautiful house, perfectly located in the heart of things near the Place Seffarine, yet just a 5 minute walk from the Bab R'cif. Although the owners were on vacation during our stay, we received extraordinarily friendly and attentive care from the staff and caretaker. We felt as if we were staying with friends, while still...

This is a beautiful place to spend a few days - and a lovely shelter from the craziness of Fes, right in the heart of town. It's not cheap, but the building has been wonderfully restored and would be capable of charging admission just to see the rooms. Meals are served in house - a great option, with few alternatives...

Great staff who were very helpful and genuine. Beautiful rooms and close to one of the main gates. Lovely dinners cooked by a local. Lots of stairs so may not be good for those who have difficulty with navigating many narrow steps.

My husband and I stayed at Dar Seffarine for the 3rd time. We come to Morocco regularly for business. It's a stunning riad - beautifully renovated. The staff are a delight and are alot of fun. Breakfast, which is a communal affair, is a real highlight. Lots of different things to eat and certainly no shortage of anything. In fact...

A difficult review to write! It could have been spectacular but ended up not quite delivering. We had a great stay in Fes and the venue's location could not be faulted. The building is magnificant and our room was impressive but just not thought through. We had a highly impressive double room on the top floor. The room was massive...

Emerging on to the roof of this riad late afternoon gave up one of the most awesome sights I have ever witnessed. Fes's rooftops bathed in low sunlight - the atmosphere of this city is marinated in time, culture, clour and smell. The sight will remain as a fond memory of my holiday for a long time. The staff are...

You'll find yourself drawn back to this place while exploring the medina and the terrace views. You'll be lucky to stay here. We had amazing service, the staff were friendly and felt like family. We had a large group- rented out all but two rooms. You can get wine on the terrace. Breakfast was out of this world- it was...

The restoration and details throughout this riad are awe inspiring. The lobby is beautiful, wood carvings, hand painted doors, delicate lamps, colorful tile. All the rooms are special (we got a tour of the riad) but the gem is the suite with a walk in shower, Tall ceiling, giant bed and stained glass windows. The roof top lounge is multi-tiered,...
