If you like to sit amongst other people's dirty plates and are expected to eat the leftover scraps of other people at breakfast, then this is the Riad for you. On our first morning we were confronted with the awkward situation of a communal table and no food as we arrived at 9.30 am when we told that breakfast would...

I agree with all the complimentary reviews. .Dar Seffarine is a beautiful inn, in a terrific location, serving fabulous food. I must mention, however, the most impressive part of our stay here was the great service by the staff. Mohamed, there's just no one like you! Thank you all for making our stay so memorable.

My husband and I spent 5 days at Dar Seffarine in June 2011. It had been recommended by my Oud teacher and his wife, who is Fesi. It exceeded my expectations in all regards! The building has been lovingly restored by an Architect and his designer wife and it shows. Everything was beautifully done and in keeping with the original...

My partner and I stayed at Dar Seffarine for three nights in July and could not have been happier. When we arrived in Fes, we called the accommodation from the gate; Zouhir said he would be on his way to meet us and bring us to the guesthouse. Within 30 seconds a guy came and introduced himself to us and...

If this boutiques hotel/b&b were in the United States, it could easily charge $1,000 a night! Absolutely amazing, worthy to be a museum. We were in such an awe in this place, my jaw was dropped all of the time by the sheer beauty of the b&b. And to make it even better, the service - the owners, an amazing...

The touting from the young men while we were on our way to the hotel was so bad that we decided to stay outside the Medina.

We were wholly delighted with Dar Seffarine, a gorgeous riad in the heart of the Medina in Fes. The restoration of the old mansion is museum-level quality (it's in better condition than many historic houses that charge admission!). The staff, fluent in English, is solicitous. The food was the best we had anywhere in Morocco, with lovely fresh fruit at breakfast...

The riad is beautiful, a rival to any of Fez's monuments. The food is gorgeous - I'd highly recommend eating there. It has a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Dar Seffarine is a beautiful guest house (a restored 600 yr. old mansion) right in the medina, down narrow, covered streets. It has about seven guest rooms, some of them suites, beautifully decorated Moroccan style (colorful tiles, intricately painted wood), and reasonably priced. There are two lovely dining rooms, a roof terrace, and common rooms off the central courtyard. One...
