Beautiful riad in Fes, Morocco. Riad sara in Fes is a very pretty and beautiful riad. We stayed here for 4 nights in 3rd week of March 2017. The riad is just under 5 mins walk to the nearest water fountain square - Batha square and just under 10 mins to the famous Fes medina. You don't need to worry...

A Riad as I imagined it before coming to Morocco. Building is over 400 years old. It was tastefully restored 15 years ago. Ali and the rest of the staff are very attentive. Evening meal is only one choice, but meals 2 nights were very good quality. Bathroom clean but could be upgraded.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. Ibrahim, Saeed and Ali were awesome! Beautiful, clean place and they even asked us what we wanted for breakfast. We were at Al-Makan before and found the people unfriendly there.

We stayed for two nights in this riad, in a double room. Rooms are very nice, spacey and clean, very warm (we visited in winter), very good customer service in general. Very good breakfast. Riad is close to the medina. Neighborhood seems a bit dodgy though. It's better to return to your room early.

We knew we had made the right choice of somewhere to stay on arrival. Ali made us welcome with fresh mint tea and biscuits, as we admired the tiling and decoration. The room we had was beautiful and romantic with plenty of space. We are each night in the Riad - lovely home cooking with nice spices. Breakfast each morning...

Riad Sara was a wonderful oasis after a day exploring the maze that is Fes. Said, our very welcoming host, took great care of us, the food was delicious and our room very warm and comfortable as outside temperatures plummeted. Should I return to Fes I would definitely come back to Riad Sara for the warm ambience that was extended...

The Riad was beautiful, the staff was superior and welcoming especially brothers Said & Ali, rooms large with comfortable beds, quiet and a great location in the medina. I highly recommend! Great place to work, play, relax!

It is a lovely riad. Palatial accomodations for a great price. Easy location once I knew where it was, very convenient to a main round-about to meet people or catch a taxi. Comfortable accommodations. Well run, special kudos to Ali who was professional and friendly, without being overly friendly which you run into with some hotel staff in Morocco. He...

This was a great place to stay in Fes - we stayed two nights. The evening meals were great both evenings. The young Ali was a most hospitable host - very friendly and got on well with our two young sons. I would happily recommend this riad for families.

The staff at this riad are very accommodating. We were there for 2 nights and the New Years celebration, which included a feast and a Berber music concert. The place is beautiful and the food is very special. Fez is a challenging city to be in and this riad really offers a chance to get away from the hustle of...

NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT - FROM SEPTEMBER 2015!! Riad Sara is a beautifully restored 14th Century read that has been running as a guest house since 2002. The main entrance to the medina, Bab Boujloud, is only a 5 minute walk from the riad, taxis to the new town are a 2 minute walk, and there are multitudes of restaurants and bazaars within a short walking distance. Our tour desk can organise day trips to nearby sites, as well as longer treks to farther afield places.
