Don't be deterred if you arrive late in the evening as we did as this Riad is located down a rather narrow and dark alley. Once inside, however, we found it to be an amazingly beautiful place and exceptional hospitality was offered throughout our visit. Despite our late arrival we were treated to an excellent Moroccan meal, and didn't feel... More

We enjoyed our stay in the Dar Al Andalous but were only in Fes for two nights. We came by train from Marrakech which took most of one day, had a full day in Fes, spent another night at this hotel, then took the train back to Marrakech to get ready for our flight back to Miami. Unfortunately my wife... More

Due to a reservation hiccup in Riad Fes, we spent a night in Dar Andalous. The people at Dar Andalous were really kind and caring. Kadiri, the owner of the riad arranged a room for us and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay. Kadiri had the cook prepare us a sumptuous dinner although it was at a pretty... More

It was like a time travel back to the luxurious and historical days in Fes! The riad was beautifully decorated with meticulous details. It is true some parts were a little dated, but nonetheless it was a comfortable and beautiful stay. The homemade breakfast each morning was lovely. The owner himself was also pleasant to talk to! Try it!

We spent 3 nights here in great comfort and beautiful surroundngs. The whole building has been lovingly restored. The public spaces are impressive, airy and elaborately decorated. Our bedroom overlooked the dining area, the view adding to the pleasure of the room itself. It's probably worth staying for the rooms and buiding alone, but the level and nature of the... More

Riad Dar Al Andalous ended up being an unexpected but pleasant visit to end our weekend in Fes. We were originally scheduled to stay at the Riad Fes Baraka (we had booked a room there a month in advance), but were informed when we arrived that their Riad was booked, so we would be staying next door at the Dar... Dar Andalous is a spacious riad/dar with a lot lf original details and excellent location. The ruites are very spacious and nicly decorated, our suite was huge and had a big dressingroom and bathroom on a separate floor. As in all riads you hear what goes on inside and outside the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The... More

We found all the staff very nice and helpful. The man on duty at check out, presumably owner, is quite rude, especially to his staff whom he loudly reprimanded in front of us which made us very uncomfortable. After checkout we felt he didn't want to attend to us. The hotel wasn't very busy but they gave us a bedroom... More

Typical of Morocco, the Riad is just an anonymous door down a blind alley. Ask a taxi driver for "medina Batha" (say Bat-ha) and then ask to be guided by a local (pay 20 dh-ish). You can soon find it again. Inside is a beautiful double courtyard riad, delightfully decorated and very good example of why people come to Morocco.... More

This hotel with its traditional architecture and interior is conveniently located for the medina, the Batha and local transport. It's a bit tricky to find the first time(!), but easy enough to find again. It's tremendously atmospheric, and it is clear that the owner and his staff care very much about the building and the guests. The housekeeping is spotless,... More
