This is truly an amazing place to stay , a beautiful house in the middle of an ancient city, restored to really high standards and an architectural delight. The beauty of the house reflects the calm atmosphere and the rooms are a pleasure to be in. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had an incredible night's sleep every night....

This was my second visit to Dar Aquas - one that I had looked forward to for over a year. The location of the house (right in the middle of the 9th century medina) is excellent and the kindness of our hosts, Mary and Brian, made our first trip memorable. I was delighted to find that the only changes were...

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Aquas, an excellent location for a winter break. It is a real gem of a place with beautiful tile work, wooden features and amazing plaster-work, a real find and perfect for anyone who wants to experience the real "hidden behind closed doors" world of the houses in Fez. Breakfast was excellent, a good...

my first time in Africa, and Mary and Brian helped to make sure it was a fantastic experience. Mary cooked a wonderful breakfast every morning and gave suggestions and helpful advice to make sure each day went without a hitch including arranging a guide one morning, organising a driver for an excursion outside Fez another and on our last day...

Fez is a magical place to visit and Dar Aquas is a magical place to stay when you are there. The building is beautiful and clean and Mary and Brian are kind and thoughtful. I shall return to explore further afield next time.

What a wonderful place, the interior design, the rooms, the food, the knowledge of the fantastic pair of Irish people running it. The whole thing was fantastic!! The time and attention spend on us as visitors and the trips we were taken on was out of this world. Thank you Mary and Brian, you made the pain of my recent...

My family and I are travelling around the Mediterranean in a motorhome and sometimes - very occasionally - we treat ourselves to a night or two in a hotel. We wanted to explore the wonderful city of Fes properly, not from a campsite on the edge of the city. We had read great things about Dar Aquas and emailed to...

My family and I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Dar Aquas for the last week of December 2014. The b&b has an excellent location near Rcif, inside the Medina. The rooms were beautifully made, had functional bathrooms, and maintained traditional Moroccan architecture. The meals prepared were excellent and took inspiration from Morroccan cuisine. Overall a great place to...

Looking around for a guest house in the heart of the medina, I was impressed by the consistently excellent reviews that Dar Aquas had received. I was not disappointed by my choice; this is one of the most comfortable, welcoming and atmospheric places that I have ever stayed. For a very reasonable price we had a lovely room with an...

Dar Aquas has everything you could possibly want to make you feel welcomed and pampered. Our bedroom was quite spacious with a comfy bed and some real estate for all our clothes, a real plus! But that's not all. we were thankful for the many plugs for all our electronic devices to charge up; fast, responsive wifi in our bedroom...
